Chapter 4- Sibling Bonding Time

Lexi's P.O.V

I finished my breakfast and now I have to go see what Papá wanted to talk about. I am nervous,

I am not ready to talk about my past, but I trust Papá.

I knocked on his office door and he said "Come in".

I went in with my head down avoiding eye contact since I was nervous and said "Hola Papá" and he replied "Hola princesa. You are not in trouble" and as soon as he said that I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"What do you want to talk about" I asked

"I wanted I go over the rules you have since you are now living here. The rules are for your safety and are pretty simple to follow.

Ok let's start
Rule #1: Respect your brothers and elders
Rule #2: No smoking or drinking
Rule #3: You can date as long as we meet and approve your boyfriend
Rule #4: Try not to get in trouble at school
Rule #5: Always listen to your brothers
And that's about it. Any questions?" he said

"Well I want to say a few things about the rules. Ok so rule #1 I respect you if you respect me. I go by "The golden rule" I know childish but it has never failed me.
(The golden rule is treat others like how you want to be treated and vice versa)
If they treat me bad I will reciprocate the same energy back.

Rule #2 I don't smoke but I do drink but only at parties and I am not a lightweight so you don't have to worry I know my limits.

I have no problem with rule #3 except if you don't approve I will still date them If I approve that is all that matters but I will take your opinions in consideration.

Rule #4 I will try not to get in trouble but just know I don't go around starting fights I finish them. I hate bullying so if I see it happen I will step in.

Rule #5 I will listen to my brothers on certain things but if I don't feel the same way I will do my own thing" I said in a stern voice I looked at Papá and he just looked at me with a proud look in his eyes and he got up and hugged me.

"Also I want you to think about therapy it may help with the nightmares" he said

I was shocked that was the only thing he said about that, so I said "I will think about therapy but don't get your hopes up".

Papá broke the hug and said that the rest of my family is coming over and don't know that I am back so we are going to surprise them and also he wants me to go shopping for clothes and other things I want with my brothers.

I am excited to see my family again and I am excited to go shopping, it's been a while.

I say bye to Papá and go up to my room.

2 hours later
I get up from bed since I have to go shopping with my brothers. I am excited since I love shopping.

It's weird right? I am a top assassin called "red night"and I love shopping as much as the next girl I thought.

I get dressed in a simple but comfortable outfit since we are just going to the mall and probably going to be there for a while
