Upward

Author's Note/OC's/Lore

Hello! I am back from the dead with more apex fan fics. This is a BangxRampart fic but the ship will not be the main focus of the book. This is also a were wolf AU (Alternate Universe) which means all the legends I put in this book will be in a different universe, in this case present day, but still have the same attitudes/personalities. This part of the book I'll go over my OC's descriptions and the lore that has unfolded before the story you're about to read happens.

OC's Descriptions:
Audre- Hispanic woman with short black curly hair. She usually would wear it in a mullet or a bun on the back of her head. She would always stay to herself and not try to make any friends growing up, sometimes being hostile for no reason.

Kelani- a biracial woman with long light brown curly hair. She's fairly tall compared to some of the other females in the pack but she wasn't taller than most of the males. She's always seen happy and usually having a few of the kids follow her. Would always bring a smile to everyone's faces and it would be rare to see her unhappy.

Shuri- a black African woman with a slight British accent. She was always seen wearing cornrows and had a septum piercing. One of the smartest one's in the pack. She would almost never yell and her voice would be so soothing.

Junior- a light skin boy/man. He has an afro and would never shave his face properly. Always seen messing around with other girls his age or older and sometimes seen getting hit in the head multiple times since he wouldn't leave people alone.

Jafari- a white man with dirty blonde hair. One of the oldest pack members. Just like Shuri he was very calm and nothing ever really upset him. He was also the most religious with his house hoarded with oils, books and pictures. He was always seen wearing robes and never nothing else like what everyone else wore.

Derek- a tall white man with black hair always kept in a bun behind his head. He had a fairly deep voice and whenever he would talk everyone would hear him depending if he was in a room or not. He never wore a shirt since he grew up with the Rogues. He was usually always calm but he quickly would make friends with the other boys in the pack and would play fight with them.

Gloria- an elderly Indian woman. She was very stubborn and hated almost everyone in Upward. She always would be the one abusing the omegas and sometimes would forget she had children to look after and Ramya was a child. She was on of the ones that wants Upward back to the way it was.

Lore:

Somewhere in an unknown forest lived a pack of wolves that have been roaming the lands to find themselves. They called this forest Zen. They all lived peacefully with each other until one male member decided there needed to be change. The shifters of the pack all became against each other after false allegations said by this one male, Matafe. This trouble led to the pack splitting into 4 separate groups Cunningham, Dior, Conquer and Upward. The male that started the allegations became leader of Upward and had all the other packs fight almost daily to take control of the forest but no matter how hard the other three packs tried, Upward would always come out on top from how the male trained his warriors and how often he would force members to mate to grow his pack.

Finally, a strong and lucky soul, Gorgon, came upon himself that the packs should all come together as one as they did years before. The Alpha male of Upward would always try and get him killed but never could succeed in doing so from the swiftness of this younger male. This young male finally declared war on Upward and another blood shedding fight went on and it lasted hours with no one being victorious in this fight. This led to the Alpha male of Upward to give in and listen to younger male. The packs will still be their own pack, however, as long as they help one another out as they all are a pack family, each pack with their own rules and customs.

But there was one specific group that still didn't want to listen to the new ways and they were immediately kicked out of their packs and forced to live on their own. All the shifters got together and formed their own pack called the Rogues. The Rogues didn't have any self discipline and their Alpha didn't care how they lived. The only thing they cared about was taking over Upward, who was still the strongest pack in Zen, and living out what that Alpha male wanted...war and no peace.

During the time when Matafe was in charge of Upward, and mostly Zen, he would make sure everyone would follow his strict and horrible rules. Anyone that tried to go against him in the slightest way would be punished or if no one reported such acts they would have the same fate. It was hectic and caused a lot of fights in Upward from people reporting lies just because they disliked a certain member. Now in the present day, anyone in any pack that shows an attitude or has any support in the way it was back then would be immediately kicked out, depending on certain situations.

Pack descriptions (the last three packs are mentioned during the story but just know that they're there):

Upward- After still being over populated by the evil Alpha male that took over Zen, Upward was forced to have the most land since they had the most members. The Alphas were always obsessed with having the pack big to have plenty of warriors just in case anything happened. They were always more advanced than the other 3 packs after smarter Alphas were in charge. Upward is closely allied with Cunningham but is enemies with Dior.

Dior- Dior never wanted to update their way of living, following all the other packs. They still wore tattered clothing in human form and acted like a tribal pack with different rituals and an extreme way into accepting new outside members that needed a family. Their members were stronger and muscular than the rest of the packs but badly outnumbered by Upward so they would never try and start anything.

Cunningham - Out of all the other 3 packs, Cunningham was the smallest but for good reason. They only accepted the smartest and wisest pack members and never needed more offspring. They are good allies with Conquer and Upward.

Conquer- They are the pack that is well groomed and well behaved. They are looked down upon by Upward but they are still decent allies. This pack also has the most resources and if any other pack needs something high quality then they would go to Conquer.
