*A murder mystery*
The story is about Rose , a girl who transfers to a new school due to some reasons.
She finds herself making new friends who seem to be like the best people she had ever met. She gets attached to them so quickly unlike her past ex...
"What did you just do ?" I asked as Brady and I walked along .
" I thought to guide you to the detention room since you don't know the whole school yet . And ...also to give you some company on your first detention I had to get detention right ?" Explained Brady.
" Now tell me why did you take the blame ?" he asked .
"I had to know the reason behind Ryan's behavior, and the best way was to talk to him . Also the class was not useful I have already read that thing." I specified the reason.
"You took detention just for knowing Ryan ? You could've asked me " said Brady.
"As if you would've told me , you don't even talk to me." I realised the words were coming out more as a complain than a fact.
" Okay listen now , he did that cause he wanted detention and he always pre plans the deeds beforehand , so this time too he had planned to pull your hair." Said Brady .
" Ooo that's why he complimented me at ..." before I could complete ...
Brady said "And about not talking to you , then I am sorry but I am not a talkative type of a person and you'll ask then why did I come to help you for detention then let me say , even though I don't talk to you , you are in our group so you are my friend and there was no one else other than me who could've helped ."
"Oh I see ." before I could say something we had already crossed the 1st floor and were heading towards the exit on the ground floor .I wondered whether they give detentions on the ground .
Brady stopped just before the exit and took a left turn .
Oh God why this school has to be so big and confusing .
I entered the room and saw twelve benches in total . A girl with long golden hair was sitting on the first bench with her head in the book .
As I was going to pass her I heard Brady yelling "Omg ! Katherine is that you ?
The girl looked from the book with her perfect blue eyes , her mouth forming a curve and slowly showing her teeth. " No silly it's my ghost ! Omg are you able to see me ? But that's impossible ghosts are not supposed to be seen by live people." Said Katherine with a great sarcasm .
Brady and I laughed at that . She slowly turned her eyes to me to see who else was laughing .
"Oh ! This is Rose " Brady introduced me .
" Oooo ." Said katherine as she scanned me from up and down ." Good choice Bro " she said teasing Brady .
" no no no it's not what you think , she is in our group now ...she is really nice ..I mean she helped our Stella and everybody likes her , so yeah she is in our group now." Said Brady as he stuttered in between.
I smiled at her and prepared to leave for my bench as my back faced her she called out "You look like my sister from backside." She said with a dreamy smile .
"Oh really ? I would like to meet her ." as the words left my mouth I saw Colours of her face drain, Brady too was looking like he saw a ghost or something .
" Umm ..." before Katherine could reply the teacher in the front said " now that your small talk is over , just shut your mouths and be seated ."
I sat on the last bench watching the girl's long hair .
Suddenly I realised that Ryan was nowhere to be seen .
where did he head to? Did he forget where the detention class was ? ..
..How silly of me the person who gets detention everyday cannot forget the class...
May be there are more than one detention rooms in this school seeing how big it is I thought as my eyes wandered from place to place.
"Hey you were going to come tomorrow ..right ? Asked Brady in a hushed tone .
"Nope , My flight was going to land today in the morning only. I wanted to surprise you all but since my flight got delayed , I came after the break . And here I am in the detention room." Replied Katherine as Brady chuckled.
Soon the detention ended but Ryan was nowhere to be seen. I planned to ask this to Brady since we were in the same 'Group'.
As the school ended I saw the group leaving for their homes . I spotted Brady and went near him .
"Hey ! Long time no see." Said Stella sarcastically.
"See here , this is Katharine my best friend and Katharine ! This is Rose ." Said Giselle smiling.
I smiled at Katherine and avoided asking the question about her sister . I looked at Brady and said "Have you seen Ryan ?"
"Ofcourse , every one of us present here has seen Ryan more than you've seen him ." Joked Aspen
" Haha, very funny ! Anyways anyone care to give me company till my house ? "
"You can go with Brady, your house is on the way to his . " said Giselle with a smirk .
"And I can join you as my house is on the way to yours ."said Ryan appearing on the sight .
"Cool! Let's go then "I replied glad to get some company.
We exited the school gate and started walking along the straight road . I was on the road side , Ryan in middle and Brady at the far end .
"So how come you shifted here , in this old cursed town ? Asked Ryan.
" cursed town ? " I asked curiously.
"He is trying to say boring , boring town it is !" interrupted Brady.
"Actually my dad had an accident a few months ago so we had to search for a house and since it's near to my mom's work place we shifted here." I said
"Oh sorry about him ...but what happened to your previous house ? Asked Ryan .
"That is a story for another time , first tell me where were you during detention ? I asked .
" what do you mean ?" Asked Ryan raising his eyebrows.
"Okay ! So I told Ms. Grimmauld that it was my fault and she gave detention to me too , so I didn't find you in the detention room . Where were you?" I asked again .
He looked at me as if thinking about making up some reason.
