*A murder mystery*
The story is about Rose , a girl who transfers to a new school due to some reasons.
She finds herself making new friends who seem to be like the best people she had ever met. She gets attached to them so quickly unlike her past ex...
Everything was going perfectly till now . I had thought of spying on Ryan tomorrow but mom called me and said that she was going to be late today .
So I thought of calling Giselle over home but her mom picked up the call and said that Giselle was crying over her lost pet . So in next 20 minutes I was walking towards Giselle's home .
But I came to a halt when I saw Ryan leaving her house. I was curious about why had Ryan come to Giselle's home but I dropped the plan to ask Giselle directly and thought of some adventure.
So here I was following Ryan but my shoes were not keeping up with me. Since I had stepped in a mud pool the shoes were making noise .
I had seen Ryan with an upset face while he was leaving Giselle's home. So I was very eager to know what had happened .
Suddenly Ryan turned back . I quickly hid behind a tree and before could balance myself ,my foot slipped and I felt from the edge of the road in a deep pit into the jungle .
I kept rolling until the slope ended. I stood up realizing the pain in my right foot and a cut on neck ...which was maybe due to some thorn on the way.
This spying thing was not always in my favour . I always got caught before getting someone else caught. So this was not a surprise to me but where I ended was really worrisome.
"Are you okay ? " asked a blonde girl with pure black eyes to me .
"Yeah almost fine " I said as I stood up.
"How did you end here ? " asked the girl with a blank expression.
"Umm ..actually my foot slipped from the edge and I fell ..and ...I kept falling . By the way why are you here ?" I asked curiously. As no one would have expected someone in this small jungle like place .
"None of your business . Also now that you are on your feet now then it's better going out from here " the girl replied roughly.
"Actually I am new here and I kind of don't know the way to my home from here ...so I would be grateful if you help me . I said
"Not that I expect any kind of help from you " I muttered to myself .
"Just go straight and take the right slope upwards you'll be back on the road you were heading to." the girl said before disappearing into the woods.
I observed my surroundings, there were trees everywhere. I also spotted a tree house like thing on one of the trees but I was not planning to discover it properly as staying here when it was going to be dark was the last idea in my mind .
I quickly started walking as the girl had directed me. After reaching home I took a bath and put bandage on my leg and the left side of my neck.
I ate my food and went to sleep early as I was not sure to answer my mom about my injuries.
Next day was ahead . I had to find out about Ryan. Not that I was curious about him being upset but I wanted to know whether he had spotted me yesterday or not.
It was most probable that he hadn't seen me because if he had then he would have come down the jungle to save me .
As the break came I had half expected to see Ryan because Brady and he had some fight so may be to make up with him Ryan chose to join us during the break .
I was right . I watched Ryan taking a seat beside Brady . Ryan smiled at Brady but Brady didn't return the smile .
"Hey friends! " I smiled at everyone .
"Hey beautiful!" Replied Aspen with his charming smile.
"So how's everyone coping with the exam stress ?" Asked Giselle .
"What the hell Giselle! The exam is two months ahead ! Please don't give me a heart attack ." Said Ashton mockingly.
"Did you notice hell and Giselle rhymed?" Said Katherine as she laughed .
"Don't tell me you are going to tease Giselle with the phrase Giselle is hell ?" Laughed Stella .
"What rubbish ?" Said Giselle as we all turned our eyes to Stella.
"What ? I thought it made a good joke ?" Stella said as we were still staring at her with blank faces .
"Hey sis joking is not your thing . Leave that to us." said Ashton with a chuckle .
We all ate our food silently until Ryan asked me "Where were you yesterday after the school Rose?."
I stared at him as if he had asked me whether I was on the earth or somewhere else.
I was afraid that he had seen me following him . I was thinking of a reason to tell him but in this short span of time nothing came in my mind .
"Umm ..I was bored so .. umm I was just roaming ...discovering the roads you know. So that I can be familiar with them." I said hesitantly.
"I had called yesterday to your house but no one picked up . I just wanted to confirm whether you reached home safely or not . I also wanted to apologize because I couldn't join you so.." he finished.
"Oh that ? I mean yeah I went to the park with Brady but after that he dropped me safely to my home . And no need to apologize I had a good company." I replied as I smiled at Brady.
Every one stared at Brady then at me .
"With Brady to the park ?" said Katherine raising her eyebrows.
"Brady a good company ?" Said Aspen mimicking Katherine's tone as we all laughed.
Brady's stony glare was on me now as if I was not supposed to say that . I was confused by his behaviuor . Sometimes he was good sometimes rude . Actually most of the times rude. So why was I helping him by spying on Ryan?...
