◇6.WHAT'S IT WITH RYAN◇

"Would you like to give me company?
Please don't say no, I haven't yet visited the whole town . I am a little bad with remembering roads. Also there's no one else to help me. " I said exaggerating.

I thought my overacting would make him atleast smile a little bit but no ...he was too busy thinking about I don't know what !

To cheer his mood I had to do something ." Okay let's play a game ! Let's race to the park." I said

"Do I look a kid to you ? And you know where the park is ? Asked Brady with a more irritated face now .

" I haven't visited the park yet but I saw that direction board " I pointed at the given directions." And since you are not a kid then let's do a backward race " I exclaimed .

" what race ?" Asked Brady

"You have to walk or run in reverse mode ...facing your back towards the way you are going to. I explained as if it was necessary .

I turned towards him and said "Get set go! "
I walked as fast as I can .

Suddenly Brady called out "Hey ! Watch out ."

"What for ? " I asked as I bumped into someone who was approaching from the back . I tried to balance myself and turned around .

" I am so sorry ." I said as soon as I saw a boy who seemed to be three or four years older than me .

"Can't you see ? " said the guy with disgust .

"I said I am sorry ! " I replied curtly.

"Are you blind or what ? You just put your foot on mine . You silly girl !" Again the guy said with more irritated tone.

"Excuse me ! I am not blind and for your kind information I don't have eyes on the back of my head so that I can see you approaching from back ." I said with quite a rage .

"How dare you speak to me like that " the guy said a little surprised to my change of tone .

"As far as I know you were walking straight in the forward direction so it was your responsibility to watch what was coming before you ...still you bumped into me ......was that ....was that on purpose ?" I said with my anger on peak level.

"What ? Do you mean ..." he said but before his completion of sentence I interupted.

"Yes I mean it's your fault , it should be you apologizing me . Now apologize fast or else I'll call the cops and complain against you." My words came out before getting processed in my mind .

"Are you serious ?" the guy now was thinking that I am crazy.

" just apologize." I shouted

" okay ! Sorry you idiot ." He said before disappearing from the sight.

Brady was silent all the while .
I turned my eyes to him , he was watching me with amusement .

" what ?" I asked to know his mind .

" you look cute when you are mad at someone ." Said Brady with a regret as if it was the wrong timing .

"Then I am going to look adorable ! If we don't reach to the park now ."I said with a smile .

"What ? " he asked and then laughed as soon as he realised my sarcasm .

Finally I was able to make him laugh .
As soon as we reached the park I removed my shoes and sat on the grass . Soon Brady was beside me sitting with his legs stretched in front and hands on the ground.

"He doesn't listen to me now ! " said Brady with a tone of disappointment.

" Ryan?  What happened today? " I asked hoping for getting an answer .

"Yeah Ryan.  He is behaving weirdly from some days now . He doesn't share anything with me ...like where he is going and what he is doing when he is not with us." Said Brady with a sad tone .

"it's okay ! It's his choice to tell us or not ... but it's our choice whether to find out or  not." I said with an encouraging tone .

"What do you mean ? " asked Brady curiously.

"You know what? I have always thought of spying on someone." I said with amusement.

"Okay let's see ...for now let's get you to your home or else your mom will be worrying about you." Said Brady ignoring the spying statement as it seemed a joke to him.

"Fine ! Let's move." I said without telling him that my mom won't be home soon.

The day went well . I thought every moment I saw Ryan.  He didn't seem to be a rude one but I had to find out what was he up to ... not even letting his best friend to know about him was a big thing so I was eager to find out , though it was none of my business.
