Merlin: The Untold story

Hey guys

So I really wanted to do this after seeing the end of series 5 :(

I will say now DON'T read this if you not watched all of series 5.

This contains too much spoilers about what happens in series 5 so only read if u have watched all series 5

Now I got that out the way. I've wanted to do this so I'm excited to get started on this.

I wasn't sure what to call this. This will follow Merlin in the modern time but wll involve a lot of flash backs to what Merlin has been doing all those years ect :)

As well as an untold story which the bbc clearly are not going to do so i want to make up my own to what could happen :)That is y i decided to call it UNTOLD STORY.

Now. This will just be an intro too get everyone started and into it. Hopefully everyone will really enjoy this as I enjoy writing it. This is a big thing to take on but I know I can do this will you my readers supporting me as I do it.

So enough of my rant lets get on with it XD.

Merlin/ Emry's POV

To wait as long as I have for something that most people believe will never happen can sometimes make you want to give up but being so use to it by now waiting in a cue for a hot drink when the lines long is nothing compared to how long I've waited, waited for the day of the return of King Arthur.

The Great dragon had told me that one day he would rise again and all these years later I'm still waiting for his return, the return of my best friend and I won't give up or believe he won't return. I know he will return I just don't know when. I've waited a long time and I could wait a lot longer too but it will be worth, Arthur always will be.

I moved further down the cue. I remember when Gaius use to make me tea, even that moment when he used my bath water too make it. Even though that was so long ago I still remember it now and I still enjoy tea quite alot.

"Can I help you sir?" he asked as I reached the front.

"One tea please," I say as I hand over my money. He handed back my change and my hot tea in a cardboard cup, or a take away cup as they call it. 

I left the cue and headed back the other way I had come before I wanted the hot drink. I've been waiting so long for Arthur that so much had changed. I sometimes wonder if I've done everything right but I know deep inside waiting for Arthur is the best thing I can do. Arthur had always been my destiny and I trust in the great dragons words.

I come to realise how many people know about King Arthur and even me in fact. Sometimes its strange but the Great Dragon was right. The story we had been apart of has lived long in the minds of men, even to this day it does.

Arthur is the once and future king. One day I have faith he will be king again when Albions need is greatest he will rise again. I watch Avalon waiting for that day.

Flash back

"Merlin, why can't you stay? I know Arthur's death...please stay?" Gaius asked.

"My Destiny is to protect him, Gaius and that means to protect his resting place. He will return one day, Gaius," I tell him.

"Will you come to visit?" he asked.

"I want too, Gaius but I don't know right now."

"You will live on for many years, I shall not," Gaius says.

"I'll come visit but I can't stay here any longer," I tell him.

"Magic will be brought back to the kingdom," smiled Gaius.

"Did Gwen tell you that?"

"Yes, she did."
