Things are a lot different there now

Arthur's POV

I didn't like it. I also hated our plan. I don't like the thought of Merlin going out there with Lancelot without anyone else. I should probably have faith right?

I mean Merlin has looked after himself for a very long time, he has magic and power which no one else has. Lancelot has proved himself many times he can look after himself. He has saved my life time and again too. So why do I worry so much? I know why as much as everyone else would. Its because they are important to me, it hurts sending anyone out to trouble even if there stronger or more powerful then you are.

So I'm standing at the window looking down as Merlin and Lancelot approach the figures. I've got my sword in my hand, just encase I need to run into battle. I'm still not use to how much has changed. Merlin has told me more then once to keep it out of sight. But I will only do that if there is no danger and right now there is.

From up here its hard to make out the figures. I wonder what they want. As one moved closer to Lancelot my fist tightened around the sword. Any contact and I'm running for the door. A hand touched my shoulder. I turn around to find Gaius looking at me. "Don't worry, they can look after themselves," he smiles.

"What if its more dangerous then we think?" I ask as I turn back around to look out the window to find Lancelot, Merlin and the figures nowhere in sight.

"There gone!" I shout.

"Yes, because the time for a future king is upon on us and Arthur if you are to take the throne once more Merlin will need someones help. Did Merlin tell you that you will need to talk to people who believe in the myths?" he asked me.

"Yes he did but what's that got to do with anyone this?" I ask as worry strikes through me.

"Everything."

Merlin/ Emry's POV

I couldn't believe it had came right to us. I do kind of wish I took Arthur with me but Lancelot assisted he wanted to come and I couldn't take him and Arthur. I can tell Arthur later if we find any information that would help us.

The two figures led the way and we followed close behind. Lancelot kept looking at me out the corner of his eye. I think he doesn't trust them, I don't think I blame him. I've learned that sometimes I trust too many people. Its what has got me into trouble back when I was young, a very long time ago.

I still look back and wonder how things would have been if I made different choices, maybe had my guard up even more then I did back then. I do know that it was my destiny though, so as much as things may have changed I think the end result would have been the same.

The two figures stopped outside a small looking house, we had probably been walking at at least ten minutes or so. They unlocked the door and allowed us in first before they followed in after us. "Stay here," one whispered before they both vanished into the next part of the house. We stood in the front room area, looking very out of place. Like we shouldn't be here. "I feel really out of place," whispered Lancelot.

"Because that is exactly what you are right? Lancelot Knight of Camelot, hopefully you will be able to take that up again soon rather then later. I know who you are, I know the young man next to you is far from young anymore and I also know he is the greatest warlock to ever live," she smiled.

Her blues eyes glared into mine, her smile like she had found something she had been searching for, for a very long time. Her blond hair is tied up in a bun and she wore jeans and a baggy top with trainers.

"You believe in the myths?" I ask.

"Yes, as most people see it but I knew different. I mean you two are living proof. I needed to know, I had to at least see you once, Merlin."

"How did you find us? I've been alive for a long time. How did it take you so long?" I ask.

"Your very hard to find, trust me."

"I'll take your word for it. Is there anything you want from me?" I ask her softly.

"No I already had what I wanted. Is there a way I can help you?"

"Well yes actually, you know everything about the myth including me right?"

"Of course, I know everything is there something you need to know?" she smiles.

"Yes, a lot has changed over the years. I've not moved away from here in a long time. I need to know exactly where Camelot once stood," I say to her.

She looks right at me and beams. "Ah yes, Camelot. If I can just find that book," she says as she goes over to a shelf full of books. It took her about two minutes to find what she is looking for and brings it over to me turning the pages until she landed on one page in particular. "Camelot's ruins didn't last forever. They did crumble and things replaced it. At this moment in time I'm not sure what is on top of it but about fifty years back it was a orphanage."

"Do you have any maps? That can lead us back to the location?"

"Yes, I do actually. I will get them for you but Merlin please do be careful. Things are a lot different there now," she warns me. "I know don't worry I will be and thank you," I smile pleasantly.

"If you ever need anything do not hesitate to ask me."

"What is your name?"

"Emily."

Unknown POV

"Why did it take so long?" she whispered to me.

"Maybe because I am not as powerful as you are. Its been many years and your off spring aren't going to be as powerful, things have changed. Your lucky I had any magic at all!" I shout at her.

"Calm down, I understand. I'm glad you do though. Now tell me, Anna where will I find Arthur Pendragon?"
