Who are your favorite authors?
CS Lewis, George R.R. Martin, Justin Cronin, J.R.R. Tolkien
What advice do you have for aspiring authors?
Keep writing, it will happen, I promise. It's a marathon not a sprint. It took me
years and eight books before I was able to make the move to writing full time.
But I promise you it is worth it.
What was the inspiration for the story you wrote for the Block Party?
I've always wanted to do a book about angels and demons. Alan Price and
the Colossus of Rhodes is the completion of a book I was working on in college.
It's the first of a series and I'm having a blast writing the sequels.
What are your writing habits? Do you drink a lot of caffeine?
Definitely lots of caffeine, I wish I could just inject myself with that stuff. I usually
write in the mornings after I answer emails and run the gauntlet of checking on
my social media sites.
How did you discover Wattpad? Through my author friends Apryl Baker
and Kelly Ann Blount. You might have heard of them, they're kind a big deal.
When I'm not writing I'm ____________. Working out at the gym or
running to keep my sanity. I can only do so many hours sitting behind a computer.
What's you favorite thing about Wattpad? I love the instant connection
between writers and readers. As authors we'd be nothing without our readers.
What can we expect from you next? Apryl Baker and I are coauthoring a
book, The DeCadia Code. You can read the first section of our book here on
