Who are your favorite authors?  

This is such a hard question. I love so many authors and genres. I’m currently reading Ken Follett’s Edge of Eternity. For young adult books my recent favorite is Jennifer Estep.

What's your advice for aspiring authors? 

Read, a lot. People watch without being creepy and pay attention to details of your surroundings. 

What was the inspiration for the story you wrote for the Block Party? 

During the Wattpad Block Party I uploaded my book Freak of Nature. It’s a sci-fi romance. I’ve always been intrigued by cyborgs and the merging of electronics in the medical field. 

What are your writing habits, or routine? (day vs. late night? on your phone? lots of caffeine?) 

I write between 10-2 at least five days a week. I’m not skilled enough to write on my phone so I use my laptop and have at least two to three cups of coffee before I start writing. If I find myself stuck on a scene I’ll get up and walk in circles around the house. Somehow that seems to get my brain back on track. 

How did you discover Wattpad? 

I don’t remember how I stumbled across Wattpad back in 2011. But I did up load my first novel Coexist: Keegan’s Chronicles while I wrote it and really love the community aspect of the site. 

When I'm not writing... I'm trying to find balance in life. It’s hard to keep up with being a wife, mother and writer. Plus find time for myself. I crave a lot of alone time and I also like to try new things. Right now I’m taking a class on herbalism. 

What's you favorite thing about Wattpad?  

How positive the readers and writers are to each other. It’s such a wonderful site. I wish I’d had something like this as a teenager when I started writing. 

What can we expect from you next?   

I always have a few projects going at the same time. I’m writing a new series on witches, the fourth book in my IFICS series and also a couple of co-written stories. There never seems to be enough time in the day!
