>Kevin’s POV<

I stretched a bit rolling onto my side, looking over at Zach’s sleeping form beside me. I smiled to myself, finally being able to get with my mate after all that time…or at least the two weeks that I actually knew him. Each day was torture, even worse when he started to avoid me and wouldn't even text me. Now though I feel like he won't give me the silent treatment, at least I hope he doesn't.

Moving a hand over his back I gently caressed his back as I watched him sleep peacefully. I could feel him relax as I kept rubbing his back. I moved a bit closer to him so that my stomach was against his side. He rolled over onto his side, moving into my chest which made me smile wrapping my arms around him as I hugged him into me rubbing my thumb of my right hand over his shoulder slowly.

I felt a soft kiss applied onto my chest, I gave him a small squeeze, then I rubbed over his back with both of my hands. “Good morning,” he squirmed closer to me looking up at me with a smile.

“Morning,” Zach said, I gave him another squeeze as I rolled us over so that he was laying on top of me. He laughed a bit as he raised up exposing his bare stomach to me, not for long though as he wrapped the comforter around himself a small blush forming on his face.

A loud knock came from my door, I raised up a bit and pulled Zach into my chest. “Yes?” I called out.

“Are you boys awake?” My father asked from the other side of the door.

“Yes, why?” I wrapped my arms around Zach in a protective manner.

“Just about to make breakfast, if you both want to come down in a few minutes to eat,” I nuzzled Zach, he smiled and nodded.

“Ya, we'll be down in a few minutes.”

“Alright, don't take long,” my dad said as he left. I cupped my little mate's butt as I moved him up so that I could kiss him on the lips. He giggled and kissed me back, I gave his bum a small squeeze as I licked his neck. He blushed brightly as he let out a small moan.

“Let's get some clothes on,” Zach said with a growing blush on his face. I pushed up with my hips with a smile.

“Why? Don't you want to lay naked with your mate for a while before breakfast?” He blushed a bit and looked away from me. “Alright lets get some clothes on cutie.” I gave his bum a gentle slap as I watched him get up. I followed him up and wrapped my arms around him pulling him back to me, giving a low growl like purr. He rested against me, smiling brightly. I lowered my hands a bit which made him squirm out of my grasp. I looked down at him sighing a bit as I opened one of my drawers, tossing out a large shirt to Zach. “Put it on,” I smiled back at him as I grabbed a shirt for myself before I went to grab a pair of boxers and a pair of pants.

I turned around to see my little mate in his pants with my large shirt on him, going down to just above his knees. I smiled and moved over to him which made him back up until he fell back onto the bed. I followed him down sniffing his neck, I could smell his sweet honey like scent mixed with my own, then the smell of fear and anxiety. I rose up and frowned down at him. “What's wrong?”

“N-nothing,” I pulled on my boxers then my pants.

“You can tell me, I can smell that your scared,” he blushes lightly as I moved further onto my bed, sitting against the headrest, hugging his knees up to him. I pulled my shirt on as I sat on the end of my bed looking at him. “Do you want to talk about it?” He sighed a bit and hugged himself more. I frowned a bit and got up. “Alright I'll be down in the kitchen, come down when your ready.”
