Chapter 4

>Vidi’s POV<

I stretched out from my position beside Vici. The big guy had myself and Veni underneath his big arms from the three of us falling asleep in are wolf forms. None of us minded since we were used to sleeping with one another. Most times during the full moon we would fall asleep outside together, during the day we would get up and head back home, falling back asleep with each other.

I slowly moved Vici’s arm and squeezed out from underneath him. Raising up onto my knees, I looked down to watched Vici roll over and hug Veni tightly to his chest in a possessive manner. I smiled a bit and got onto my feet watching my to brothers still asleep.

People ran past me screaming. I could see a man instructing orders to wolves. The smell of blood filled the air as more screams lit up the air. Large wolves charged at the man yelling orders, only to be stopped by equally large wolves. Vici walked past the man, shifting into his large wolf form. He towered over the other wolves, he grabbed one in his jaw and clamped down, I could tell that the wolf was dead before the body went limp. Vici was like a tiger shark, as soon as he had it in his mouth whoever or whatever it was is dead.

I watched as he growled loudly and reared back. A large bear ran through me attacking my brother. The two behemoths seemed equally matched, which shocked me. Vici was a tank, nothing could stop him, but I watched as the bear had him matched. I watched as Veni ran up my Vici’s back, two daggers in his hands as he flipped and buried the daggers into the bear’s head. The bear roared loudly before Vici pushed him over and clamped down onto his throat.

My vision turned to see a red haired boy standing there. “Lycaon its me who you want, leave the rest of it!” A boy yelled, a Scottish accent pouring through his words.

“Lachlan why did you have to get this pack involved? You could have just accepted your fate alone, but you’ve caused so much death,” the man who I’d have to guess was Lycaon spoke up. The same man who was yelling out orders.

“You caused all the deaths! You’re the killer!” The boy, Lachlan, said pointing at Lycaon.

“Vici, bring me him,” my brother sniffed the air and slowly walked over to Lachlan. A small wolf pounced onto Vici, his jaws open wide, biting down onto Vici’s shoulder. Vici reached around and grabbed the wolf’s hind leg, bringing him around quickly.

“Arturo!” Lachlan yelled out, turning into his wolf form, pouncing at my brother, his jaw spread wide. It was a feral anger. Vici raised his head and caught the wolf in his mouth.

“Vici don’t kill him, kill the wolf on the ground first,” Vici tossed Lachlan and grabbed the wolf who I guessed was Arturo, grabbing his head in his jaws, clamping down and crushing his head. The howls and whines which came from the poor wolf were sickening. I wanted to yell at my brother to stop. Lachlan seemed to go into a maddening feral state as he attacked  Vici again, going for the neck. Vici did a final chomp as the wolf’s skull gave way, expelling brain and blood. Vici raised his claw and scratched Lachlan, trying to loosen his grip. Lachlan stayed clamped on, using his own claws to scratch Vici.

Lycaon walked up, grabbing Lachlan by the back of the neck, pulling him off of Vici. “Now Vici, I want you to make him feel pain,” Vici looked at the man and shook his head. Vici wasn’t one for dealing loads of pain onto someone, if he was going to hurt them it was going to be quick. “You will do as I say!” Lycaon grabbed Vici by the neck and pushed his head down. “Do you understand?” The man tossed Lachlan down beside the dead wolf’s body. “Now kill him slowly!”

I let out a loud gasp as my vision ended. My two brothers were hovering over me looking concerned.  “Are you okay? You were screaming,” Veni said, I looked up at Vici with a small frown.
