 "Where am I?"

It was dark, the floor cold and hard. Alvin let out a raspy groan as he sat up and surveyed his pitch black surroundings. He inhaled the musky air and exhaled rigidly. A wave of nausea suddenly hit him as the ground began to tilt. This definitely wasn't land, but where could he be?

The ground then tilted the opposite direction and Alvin puked onto the wooden floor. Wood... why was the ground wood? He soon realized that he was boxed in on all sides. He was in a crate. At the sound of waves crashing in the distance, he knew exactly where he was.

On a ship.

"What the hell," Alvin reared up and slammed his furry body into the side, but to his dismay, nothing budged.

"Ugh, I feel awful." Alvin sat back down and stared blankly at his enclosure. Slowly, memories surfaced back into his mind. That's right... he and his brothers had gone out drinking with the chipettes. Brittany went off hooking up with some guy named Kylo Ren, Jeanette was complaining about how Simon had a small dick and could no longer pleasure her. Theodore and Eleanor probably went to the bathroom to get high.

Alvin remembered being approached by a stranger offering LSD. Of course, he would never turn down an offer like that. He passed out an hour later, and now he's here, on a ship, in the middle of the ocean.

"That bastard," he seethed. "He was probably waiting for me to collapse so he could sell me for some chump change."

This wasn't good, but Alvin was too tired to care about anything right now. He sighed and slumped against the wall. Wherever he was going, he probably won't be there for who knows how long. Closing his eyes, he let himself drift off into a restless slumber.

__________

Alvin jolted awake as the ship jerked to a stop. Sounds of footsteps and men shouting filled his ears as he tried to not to collapse again. A horn blared above head and the ground suddenly felt airborne. A large machine was carrying him somewhere, hopefully dry land. A few clinks and clangs later and suddenly he was plummeting 50 feet in the air to, what looked like, a beach.

He screamed and covered his head for impact. The landing wasn't smooth, but better than concrete. He spat sand out of his mouth and was relieved to see a blue sky once again. Dazedly, he turned around and watched as the giant ship unloaded another, much larger, crate and dropped it beside him. The ship roared one last time before slowly slinking back into the ocean and sailing off to it's next destination.

Alvin let out a sigh of relief as he shook out his tail to get rid of the remaining sand. He had finally reached the shore, but now a new question arose: Where was he? He turned around and was met with a huge, green foliage that went on in either direction, not seeming to have an end. Well, better than nothing.

Abruptly, a loud thud came from the large crate beside him. Alvin approached it cautiously and tapped the box. It answered with another thud and a low moan. It sounded human. Why would a human be put in a crate? Perhaps a maniac?

Alvin panicked. He did not to be anywhere near a crazy person. He'd just look like fresh meat to him. He started running in the opposite direction as loud crack came from the crate, along with a powerful roar as a human man erupted from it's depths.

He looked primal, hungry for blood, his black locks tumbling to his shoulders and his biceps flexing under his scarred skin. He ran his hand through his hair, breathing deeply the fresh air that he long desired. Sweat beads dripped down his torso, it was at this point Alvin realized he was staring at the shirtless man.

"Damn, he's hot." Alvin gulped and looked down at the ground, embarrassed. He shuffled his feet and peaked back up at the hunk of a man. He was looking back at him. Another gulp; Alvin shakily waved his hand at the stranger.

"H-hey. How was the cruise?" He mentally pinched himself. The man gazed at him for another beat before looking at the chaotic greenery.

"Could've been better. There was no air conditioning." His deep voice rumbled through his chest, giving Alvin a shiver. Oddly, though, the voice sounded a little familiar.

"Have we met before?" He asked timidly. The man looked back at him, observing the furry creature.

"Oh yeah, you're Brittany's boyfriend, yes? Sorry about the hookup, I've been trying to rebound since Rey broke up with me."

Alvin gasped. Of course he recognized this guy! It was Kylo Ren, the man who stole Brittany from him that night at the bar. All sheepishness left and he filled with rage. A taste for revenge tinged his tongue.

"You-you bastard! You girlfriend-stealing prick! You Keanu Reeves-wannabe wrongen!" Alvin shouted at him.

"Whoa there, tone down on the language. My mom's been sending therapy to work out my anger issues. If you could, take a few deep breathes and calm down. If you want, we can talk about it. What's on your mind?" Kylo gestured to his chest and started breathing in and out, beckoning Alvin to mimic him.

He was livid. He was a powder keg about to explode. His face grew hot and his tail puffed up.

"You sadistic motherfu-"

"What is going on here?!" A booming voice interrupted him. They both looked in the direction of the jungle. At first, they saw nothing, then a tiny rustle came from a bush. Alvin squinted his eyes to take a closer look, right before a sudden eruption of lemurs came from the vegetation. Hundreds of them, flowing and surrounding him and Kylo, all in defensive stances. They must be locals.

"What is the meaning of this?!" The voice boomed again, this time right in front of them. A tall lemur with a grass crown stepped forward and scanned them suspiciously. A smaller lemur trotted behind him, looking curiously at the newcomers.

"You're not from around here, are you?" He concluded, crossing his arms and sitting down in his mobile (lemur-fueled) throne. The smaller lemur giggled behind him. Kylo nodded in response.

"Yes. We're here to... uh.."

"We're tourists!" Alvin chimed in. "I've always wanted to come visit this place. A lovely island you have here."

The lemur smiled and raised his arms to them.

"Oh, I love tourists! I'm so glad you're here! Maurice, make preparations for a feast tonight. Mort, you can.... give our guests a tour of the island."

The older lemur, Maurice, grumbled and headed back into the thicket. The small lemur, Mort, smiled and waved at Alvin. He grinned back at him.

"I am King Julian, leader of the lemurs and the embodiment of grooviness. Here I will show you all the wonders of our tropical abode. From the top of the trees to the earth we stand on, this is our home! Welcome, my friends, to Madagascar."
