Chapter 18

Clarke

I can hear the cries of "Heda" as I'm lift gently from my position in the cart. I groan as I feel the person carrying me change the way there holding me.

"Shhhh, Clarke" I hear Lexa soft voice trying to guide me back to sleep, I can feel every step she takes causing me pain, I stiffen with pain and a cry escape me lips.

"Ahhh..." I cry "Lexa" I feel the jolt of some kinda and then the sound of screeching metal.

"Hey, Hey, your safe where here" I final open my eyes and she looking down at me with a smile her beautiful green eyes poring into mine.

I look around to see we're in some kind of metal cage, I notice it's not just us in here, Anya, Octavia and a few guards who are facing the doors.

"Where here already" I crock out my voice still scratchy from sleep. Lexa smiles down at me, I can see the softness in her eyes as she looks at me.

"You slept the whole day away my love" I stretch in her arms and only a moment later the doors open.

"Come my love let us head to my room. We will see you all at the feast" Lexa say still holding me tightly in her arms as we walk in the opposite direction to the others only the two warriors following.

We start to approach to large double doors, Lexa stays quiet at two more guards pull the doors open, she strides in with me in her arms. She don't seem to care that everyone has see her carry me.

Once the large door close behind us she gently lays me on the couch, then she crouch down in front of me and pulls my boots of.

"You slept well hodnes?" she asks as she sits next to me, her hand placing on my thigh as she rubs my leg in a comforting way.

"I didn't even have a dream" I say with a smile, I still feel weak though, my body ache from the cart ride.

"Good, we should prepare for the feast, I will have a maid run you a warm bath, with some healing salts" she say kissing the side of my head.

I offer her a warm smile, and she gets up and walks to the doors she opens it slight before saying some words in Trigedaslang and then walking back in.

"Tomorrow, I have meetings I won't be around but Octavia and you maid will be, every free second I will spend with you" she says kissing my cheek, the doors open and a girl covered in tattoos walks in.

She has dark hair and eyes, she small and petite, she nod to Lexa.

"Heda" she say

"Ria, it's been to long" Lexa says with a smile as she speaks to the girl, she must be no older then me.

"I will ready you bath Heda" the girl Ria hasn't even look at me, she keep her eye down and then a bath tub is brought in followed by buckets of steaming water.

"Clarke while your here, there will be many questions, I can't answer. The door to my room will be locked when your alone, there are people here that will want to hurt you. So I will protect you" she say, I could tell by the tone in her voice she was unsure of her words.

"I don't need protection Lexa" I say defensively, I hate this feeling of uselessness and she having me locked in her room.

"I know Clarke but I will protect you at all cost. Even if that means upset you just until you heal a bit more." She say sadly placing a hand in my cheek, I look at her and our eyes meet, we just look at each other.

"The bath is ready Heda" Ria says then she bows her head before leaving.

Lexa helps me to my feet, I feel my legs wobbling and she grips me tighter making sure I don't fall.

She helps me take of my clothes make sure to be gentle of my injuries. I stand and allow her to scoop me up in her arms carry me to the tub, she lowers me down, I squirt as the water touches one of my cuts.

"It's alright Clarke it will help" Lexa whisper into my ear, I feel the water covering my body, it stings and I whimper in pain but once I'm full submerged it start to sooth the injuries.

"There see" Lexa softly says stroking my back.

"Thank you" I say with a smile and she leans forward and kisses me.

"Can..."I'm not sure if I should finish what I was says, I look down away from her and then I feel her long fingers pressed against my chin, she gently pulls my head to look at her. Her forest green eyes look right at me.

"What is it my love?" She softly says, she so kinda and I can see the worry in her eyes, I sigh before smiling at her.

"Can you join me, I just want to sit with you, nothing else tho, is that alright?" I suddenly feel shy and I know my cheeks have flashed red.

"Yes my love of course that's alright" I watch as Lexa starts to undo her armour, taking of her under layers of cloths, I can't help but blush at how beautiful her body is, I look away ashamed of the way my eyes tried to wonder over her body.

"You can look at me Clarke, do not worry, my body is yours" my eyes meet with hers briefly before she leans in and plants a kiss on my lips.

I painfully slide forward and Lexa make quick work of climbing in. I then lean back into her touch, her arms wrapping around my middle as I rest my head on her chest.

"Relax Clarke" Lexa coos, rubbing soothing circles on my stomach, I nod my head and then close my eyes taking in this moment of peace and happiness. The first moment I've had in what feels like a long time.

Slowly I open my eyes as I feel my body being gently placed on soft fluffy fur like metrical, instantly I see Lexa pulling a fur up to cover my still very much naked body. Her eyes don't wonder tho, she just smiles as her eyes meet with mine.

"You fell asleep Hodnes, I'm sorry if I woke you?" Her voice is soft and calming, I reach forward and grab her hand with my own.

"Lay with me... Bega?" She smiles and then climbs in next to me, I rest my head on her chest and listen to the calming sound of her heartbeat.

"I have to extend the feast later, though you can stay here rest. If you'd like?" She gently strokes my hair and I can't help but notice the smell of wild flowers filling the room.

"I would like to join"I reply, she kisses my head and I nuzzle closer

"For now get some rest your body need to heal my love" with that I feel myself dozing once again the sound of Lexa heartbeat and breath guiding me along the way.

I'm so sorry if this is awful I've been so busy it was the best I could do in the time I had where I'm writing as a go sometimes finding time can be really difficult.

I also apologise this chapter is a few days late I can't promise then next one will be on time but I can promise I will try really hard to get it to you as soon as possible.

What dose everyone think so far I would love it if you commented and gave me some feedback.

I don't know why but I kinda feel like it not going very well so might just give up I don't know yet.
I don't know if it because I'm so stressed with work I just don't wanna let you guys down if this book seem to be getting boring or just isn't any good.
