Chapter 32

Clarke's will hardly let anyone touch her me included when you get to close she tenses with fear. She's been through to much way to much. First the mountain now someone she thought she could trust tried to kill her.
I can't get her to leave our bed and know one can enter the room, well except Madi, so Rai has to leave her food outside and Madi or I will bring it in.
Clarke takes about three bites before she's full and that's on a good day, it's been like this for four days.
Cage and his men rot in my cells along with Flora who admitted to working for Azgada and the Maunon, which means I can now call war upon Azgada with hard evidence.

I slowly open my bedroom door and Clarke eyes snap to the door fear shining in her once life filled eyes, she looks skinnier and kinda sick.

"Hey Clarke" I softly say approaching her, she visibly tenses and it makes a part of my soul crack, I feel my eyes water by hold it back.

"L-Lex-Lexa" she timidly replies, I keep my approach slow as not to scare, she seems to relax a little.

"I'm done for the day with meetings did you want me to stay on the sofa?" She shakes her head no and then looks at the bed next to her.

"I want- ehh- ummm- can- can you-"Clarke stutter and then look down completely giving up with her words. I slowly walk closer to the bed.

"Would you like me to lay with you tonight Clarke" I say in the softest voice I could she nods her head and I can't help but smile.

I take off my red sash followed by my armour, leaving me in a wrap-around my breasts and a thin pair of black trousers. I climb into the bed and instantly Clarke latches on to me, her head resting on my upper chest and her arm wrapped around my waist. I don't say anything I just take in this moment entwining our legs and resting my head on hers "I really do love you Clarke" I can't help but says. Kissing her head she just sighs contently, both of us bathing in the others warmth on this cold bitter night.

After a while Clarke breathing evens out and I know she's fast asleep, I run my finger tips on her back. I haven't even been able to hold her since the attack and to lay here with her in my arm my nerves have startled so much. I take her in her small figure and smell, god she smell so amazing.

I feel her nuzzle closer in her sleep and I can help but smile as her arms tighten around me. God I love this woman, is my only thought before I to doze of into a content sleep.

I wake up to see Clarke lead wake but still cuddling me. She looks peaceful just sat think about what I don't know. However, I smile at her I don't want to move I don't want to alarm her but I've put it off long enough I need to deal with Cage pull him to death, kill him for what he did the woman I love and the innocent child he started to torture.

"Clarke" I softly whisper as not to frighten her, she just hums constantly and cuddles herself closer. "I've got some important things to do, will you be okay if I go do something," I ask and then gently run my fingers up and down her arm in a comforting manner.

"Can we stay like this for a few minutes?" she says in a child-like voice and tightening her arms around me. I kiss the top of her head and smile.

"A few more minutes" we just lay in blissful silence, cuddled up in each other arm, our legs entwined and our heart beating as one in this rare perfect moment.

"Clarke, I want to say here but the trail for Cage will start shortly" she huffs out a puff of air and roll of me.

"Go be a commander" she rolls her eyes and I feel awful for having to leave her just as we were starting to feel okay again. I part my lips slight think of what to say to soothe the situation but nothing comes out.
I climb out from under the furs and the cold air hits me.
I dress quickly and the entire time I sense Clark's eyes in me.

"I'm sorry Clarke I will be back soon I promise" I approached her carefully and she doesn't move away so I kiss the top of her head. "Ai Hodnes yu in" I whisper before moving away.

"I... I love you too Lex" she announces and I smile knowing she speak the truth and at the little nickname. We share a look, love in both our eyes.

I have to force myself to leave, I would stay with her all day if I could but I am the commander and that's not possible, I've put this off for too long, I've put everything off and now it's time to be the commander when my people need me.

I stride into the dungeon all my warriors cast their gaze down and move out of my way in a show of respect. I make my way to Cage's cell and see him stood in the middle two guards at his side refusing to let him move. You can tell he's fallen a few times by the holes in his trousers and the blood-seeking out of his knees and on the floor.

"Mountain Man" I growl in a low tone, he looks up, that anger still present in his eyes but his bodies far too weak to do anything about it. "Today you strand trail for the crimes you committed against our people" my voice stay even and schooled the way I've been taught my whole life.

"Says the leader of savages!" he bits back his voice venomous and angry.

I tighten my jaw stopping myself from biting back. "I wasn't the one who tortured innocent for their blood"

"We had to survive" he cries out. He tries to fly at me but in his weak state falls to the ground, my warrior to the side of him pull him to his feet.

"We all have to survive, your people live happily among the Skaikru and yet here you are only a few hours away from death" I mock. I know mockery isn't a product of a strong mine but I can't stop myself.

"You lie" he growls the anger in his voice obvious.

"That where your wrong. Over half of your people live, children, parent the innocent survived"

I cross my arms behind my back and make my self taller, I rise my jaw to give myself extra authority then say "your trial is an hour" I then turn to my warrior. "Dont allow him a rest" and then turn and leave.

I can't believe I've got two chapter out today, I somehow managed to get to chapters written today and I'm actually happy with how they are.
