Chaper 27

Lexa

I show the four Maunon out the cover and show then to some of my warriors who slaps cuffs on their wrists I hold the child in my arms, she passed out soon after she realised she was safe.

She in better condition then I thought she would be and is no where near a damaged as Clarke was.

I allow the girl to ride with me back to polis even though, the four Maunon and Cage are with us we make quick work of getting there.

After all Clarke is still ill and will need a hand to hold exceptionally if she's got Maunon fever.

Once we arrive in polis I hand the sleeping child to a warriors and make my way to my room which I share with the woman I love. I open the door to find her lead asleep on the bed Flora her personal maid wiping her head with a cloth.

"Heda" she say jumping up and pulling away  from my sleeping Hodnes.

"How is she" I ask making my way quickly to her side, I place my hand on her forehead and she's hotter then before.

"Abby says she'll be okay she needs a few day rest and the medication she left. Every few hours" she says and I offer her a small smile to say thank you.

"How long has she been asleep" I ask brushing a hair behind her ear so I can see her beautiful face even if it's paler then usual.

"Not long she's barely got any sleep" she informs me and then I nod for her to leave she nods back and I offer a smile.

"I got the girl Clarke, she's safe, younger then I thought she's only six but strong hearted, she'll make a strong Natbliada" I says smiling at my sleeping sick girlfriend.

After a few hours I hear groaning come from the bed I get up leaving my papers all over the wooden table in our room. (Sometimes I hate being Heda all the paperwork is awful).

I crouch down next to her and she turn grossly to face me her eyes droopy and she look sicker then before.

"Lexa" she crocks her voice weak and shaky, problems from the acid feeling in her throat after vomiting so many times. She pull herself into a sitting position and I hand her a glass of water that was on the wooden table next to our bed.

"Thank you" she say taking small sips of the water then handing me the cup back.

"Have you eaten anything Clarke?" She look down at her hands and fiddles with her finger tips, the small shake of her head makes me sigh of disapproval.

"I will have some bread brought to you, please attempt to eat, for me" I says in a sweet tone and her eyes sparkle.

"Anything for you" I can't help but smile at her response. She's so cute. I would be broken if I lost her.

After a while Rai my maid brought up some bread and crushed fruit spread for Clarke. I thank her at the door and then she leaves.

I walk back over to the bed where Clarke lays under many furs. She says she's cold even though her body is boiling hot.

I hand her a piece of bread and she takes a very small bite, but the groan sound she makes as she bites it tell me she really love her food still.

"Tell me what happened?" She says placing her hand in mine and I smile.

"Well..."

I'm sorry the chapter late but works really busy lately and my homework is pilling up like mad 🙈.

So guys I wonder who that little Natbliada is, she definitely brave and I believe she may a big role in Clarke and Lexa's future, or will she?
I have a huge plot twist in my head and I'm not sure how to write it but I'm so excited 😆 I think you'll love and hate it if I'm honest but I feel like I need some spicier chapter and a good plot twist to keep it good.
