🌻 Under the Light of a Thousand Stars, Would You Tell Me You Love Me?🌻

   Dark. That's what it was. The surrounding area around them was dim, and the only thing that could be seen was each other and the sky. But that's okay, it was all okay when they're together, at least that's how he felt. He laid in the field of flowers trying his best not to stare at the (H/C)-haired girl. Her (S/C)-skin glowing under the light of the thousand stars that lit the midnight sky. She made him feel safe and cared for, emotions he was often starved from. She asked him on this little outing after finding the cliff view, thinking it would be relaxing for the blonde whom often over worked himself whilst training. Soon, he'd be going to York New, soon, he'd be leaving her. It would be the next week when that was to happen when he goes to the Nostrade Estate.

She knew that he could have left her and Izunavi when he originally did, but he came back. Though she knew he'd be leaving again. The little stars reflected off her eyes, dancing in them as if they were tiny ballerinas. Those eyes shifted themselves to Kurapika. "You'll be leaving again, we'll miss you." She spoke, it was almost a mumble. "Thank you, I guess I'll miss Master's...antics." Laughter filled the empty air between the two of them. (Y/N) sat up, her back no longer on the flower filled rocky ground. "What about me, will you miss me?" Her straight forwardness caught the blonde off guard, heat rising to his face although he tried his best to hide the reaction. "I, I always hoped you'd come to York New with me, though it may not seem like you had that in mind.."

Her eyes ever so slightly widened. "Oh is that so, then I will! I just assumed you'd rather be by yourself for this venture." She fiddled with her fingers in embarrassment. "That would be farthest from the truth, at least when it comes to you..." he trailed off, pausing, getting up to properly face the girl. "Usually, I'd like to do these things alone. However whenever I'm with you it seems like I can do whatever, whenever. Like I'm flying. And it's hard to keep this to myself for to long, as I think, I think this is what they call love. I think, no no that word is getting repetitive isn't it?" He let out a small sigh, somehow hesitant he continued. "I know I love you. I know it seems absurd to say that I fell in love with you over the course of these past 4 months, but it's true. When it comes to you, I don't doubt I could fall in love with you in a mere second all over again. You're my light, my warmth, my star. If I had to put a specific star to your name you'd be.." He thought for a moment. "Sirius A... you don't have to return my feelings, I just need to let them be known."

Silence over filled them both. A scarlet hue could be seen shining from the Kurta's eyes, not angered ones though, they were full of a positive feeling, the one of love. "Under the light of the thousand stars watching us tonight, I'll tell you I love you Kurapika Kurta. And if I ever deny that, ask the stars, they'll remember."

Upon hearing those words he leaped into her, giving her a kiss. Pulling apart his face was just as read as his eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't ask to kiss you, that was uncalled for." He rubbed the back of his head. "It's okay Kurapika, you have my permission to kiss me at almost anytime." She chuckles.

In that moment it was like she was the only thing there in his eyes, it was all to perfect. This moment, her, them. He almost didn't want to think about York New, but with her there he knew everything was going to be alright.

Im sorry it's so short, I just needed to write something fluffy. As some may know Flower Girl finished earlier...and... and let's say it broke me. I immediately consumed the most funny content I could reread that also happened to be Kurapika x Reader, Messages, it was good at temporarily taking away my pain.

Anyhows it's not like I have a place to talk tho, as The Thirteen Legged Spider and the boy with the chains is nearing it's angsty climax lol. But at least I'm going to give y'all a happy ending 💔

Fun Fact: Sirius A was chosen because it's the brightest star in our night sky 😌💅
