chapter fourteen

That afternoon we went to the library and I returned the second book in the Dargon Chronicles and checked out the third. We met up with Sky and his boyfriend at the movie theaters and watched Forbidden Love, it's about a girl who's boyfriend breaks up with her because he finds out she has a crush on one of their girl friends, and when she asks her out she says that she's been straight for as long as she's liked her. And to make things even harder the girl's arents are anti LGBTQ+ and she's bisexual. It was a very emotional movie.

After the movie we all went to the Ravens Wing and got to know Sky's boyfriend Cloud. Him and Sky have been together for almost two years. -I want my relationship with Lilly to last even longer than theirs- after we ate we went to Sky and Cloud's apartment and took turns playing Mario kart. We left Sky's around 8:00 and went back to Lilly's apartment. When we got back to Lilly's I went to bed.

The next morning I woke up to the smell of coffee.

"What's that smell?" I asked.

"Coffee, you want to try some?" Lilly replied.

"Sure, where did you get it?"

"There's a Sundollars right down the street"

"What does it taste like?"

"It's hard to explain, you'll have to try it and find out"

"Ok" I took a drink of the coffee and my eyes went wide.

"This is good, tomorrow you have to take me with you so I can get some"

"Ok, if you insist"

We ate breakfast and waited for Layla to get up, when she finally did she tried the coffee but didn't like it. We sat around and talked all morning. By lunch time we had decided it was time for Layla to try pizza so we ordered a large cheese and a medium pepperoni.

"This is good" Layla said

"I know right" I replied

"I can't believe you all had never had pizza before coming here"

"We don't have a good variety of foods back home" me and Layla said at the same time.

After we ate we took turns playing Pokemon for the rest of the day. We ate at the Ravens Wing for dinner and then sat and talked some more, until it was time to go to bed. Layla slept on the couch again and me and Lilly shared the bed.
