chapter twenty

The next morning I woke up to a call from Layla, she said she was going to ask the nymphs if they would tell mom that we're both getting married and that she is pregnant. She asked if I wanted to come with her and I said sure. I got dressed in a black tank top and ripped up jeans and told Lilly where I was going and met Layla at the edge of the forest.

"I hope we can find them" I said.

"Last time they found us, so I'm no worried" Layla replied.

"True"

"Theres nothing to worry about"

We started walking and by noon Alicia had found us.

"Hey guys, what brings you here?"

"We were looking for you actually" I replied.

"What for?"

"We need you to pass on some information to our mom"

"Sure, what is it?"

"We're both getting married and Layla is pregnant"

"That's some big news, you sure you don't want to tell her yourself?"

"We're sure, she said she never wanted to see us again"

"That's harsh, sure I'll tell her for you"

"Thank you," me and Layla said at the same time.

We got back to the edge of the forest around 6:00 and went our separate ways. When I got back to the apartment it smelled like Japanese food.

"What's that wonderful smell?" I asked as I walked in the kitchen.

"Yamoto, I thought we'd eat Japanese tonight in celebration of your mom finding out about the wedding"

"I'm nervous about what she'll do to the nymphs"

"They'll be fine, their tough"

"I know, maybe she'll take it better from them, she has known them since before I was born"

"Exactly, now let's eat"

We sat down at the table and ate. I loved the salmon roll and teriyaki shrimp. After we ate I got ready and went to bed, after all, I had had a long day and was ready for a good night's sleep.
