Friends. Genuine friends. Sooah didn't realise the depth of friendship and how deep it actually went until she witnessed herself actually enjoying herself with the boys in the diner. She'd always been an introvert. The shy girl you'd pick on the hallway because she's just so fragile and meek but today she felt more than that, she felt confident. She felt like herself more than she has ever felt in her whole life. The boys made her feel welcomed in ways she didn't know was possible and the thought of how her life changed in 3 months compared to the lifetime of bullying and threats she faced back in Japan. None of it felt relevant anymore.

"Lost in your thoughts?" Sooah turned around from day dreaming out the window and she was met with the bright smile of the chef, Mr. Baek or just Hyeon.

"I guess so," she shrugged.

"You know the guys do have fun when they're here but they haven't had this much fun together in a while. You really brighten up the place," he said and Sooah let out a chuckle as she drummed her fingers along the counter.

"Mr. Baek?," Sooah turned around to look at him again and he hummed in response. "I was wondering if I could start working here as a part time job?," she raised her two eyebrows turning her words into a question and Hyeon gave her a bright smile.

"I'm sure the boys would love having you around," he said and Sooah dropped her gaze to the ground, a bright smile taking over her lips before she felt a hand wrap around her shoulder and looked up to see Jeonghan. He flashed her a smile before looking towards Hyeon.

"Charming the newbies, are you?" Jeonghan inquired and Hyeon let out a laugh.

"If that's what you wanna call it," he said and they all erupted into laughter before Hyeon spoke up again. "She wants to work part time here," he said and Jeonghan widened his eyes as he looked at Sooah.

"Wait, for real?" He asked and Sooah laughed. "Like, you actually want to?" He was getting too excited which just made Sooah laugh and before she knew it, he had pulled her into a hug. "We we're gonna ask you but we didn't know if you'd say yes or not," he said and Sooah chuckled as she patted his back.

"Working here has made me feel a lot more happier in myself so I want to continue, if that's okay?" She asked as she pulled away and Jeonghan nodded vigorously before all the boys came over and Jeonghan shared the news which only resulted in them cheering and letting out hollers while customers looked at them but they only ended up laughing and went back to enjoying their food.

"We love a new face around here," Seungcheol said and Sooah smiled before the bell rang at the door, signalling a new customer coming in and Seungcheol flashed her a smile while handing her a note pad. "Work your magic, rainbow dash," he said and Sooah looked at him in shock.

"How come everyone knows that?" She asked and Seungcheol laughed before ushering her towards the customers table and she nodded while waving her hands for him to piss off which made him laugh. She walked over towards the customer and gave him a little bow. "Hi, my name is Lee Sooah-"

"Coffee," he blandly said, not even sparing her a glance which made her frown.

"Is that it-"

"You heard me. Shoo," he waved her off towards the counter and she gave him a bow before basically sprinting towards the counter, not in the right mind for the mans scary aura.

"What was that about?" Hoshi asked as he cleaned the table and motioned towards the man at the booth. Sooah glanced back at the man before shuddering and looking towards hoshi, shaking her head which made him nod, understanding what she meant.

"Seungcheol," Sooah looked towards the blonde haired boy who was talking to Joshua and he perched his head up and gave her a smile before nodding at her for her to continue what she was going to say. "I need you to make coffee for me," she ran towards him and whispered to him as she looked towards the man sitting down at the booth.

"Why?"

"That man over there is scary and I need you to make your signature amazing coffee just this once please?" Sooah put her hands together in desperation and Seungcheol let out a sigh.

"Whats he gonna do? Sue because the coffee ain't nice?" His face turned into a scowl as he made his way over to the coffee machine and sooah jumped and clapped her hands together before the bell above the door rang again and Jisung came through.

"Did you catch him?" Minghao asked Jisung and the boy only shook his head before making his way behind the counter and grabbing a drink.

"Catch who?" I raised an eyebrow and Jisung only smiled at her as he wiped the side of his mouth.

"Some dude left without paying," Jisung sighed as he leaned his hands on the counter, breathing in and out probably from running.

"Without paying-"

"Did you hear the good news though?" Jeonghan flashed Jisung a smile as he threw his arm around his shoulder and Jisung only knitted his eyebrows together as he shook his head.

"Sooah will be working here part time," Hoshi leaned on the counter and Jeonghan glared at him.

"I was supposed to tell him," he pouted and hoshi let out a laugh before slapping him on the forearm and running into the back.

"Little wanker-"

"Take a chill pill," Seungcheol chimed in as he handed Sooah the coffee and she gave him a bright smile before making her way down towards the man. His head was turned towards the window and she was about to hand it to him before his hand flew over and hit the coffee, it spilling right on top of Sooah. She let out a series of hisses and 'shits' as the man stood up in shock before grabbing his bag and was about to run out the door before Jisung grabbed him by the collar, turning him around and punching him right in the nose.

The man just stood there in shock as he held his nose, it bleeding into his hand and dropping onto the floor. "Are you insane, boy?" He questioned Jisung as Jisung just stood there, staring at his hands wondering what he had just done.

Wonwoo ran over to Sooah and held her up to ask if she was okay and she nodded although it was clear she wasn't. "I'll take you into the back and we'll see," he gave her a smile as he walked into the back. Sooah looked at the man and back to Jisung before sighing and following Wonwoo into the back.

"Sooah, are you okay-" Jisung was interrupted by the man when he took out his phone. "Please, I didn't mean-"

"I'm calling the police. You can't just punch people in the face and it be okay," The man huffed out and Jisung sighed.

"Your the one you burned her. What will the police say when they get here?" Jisung retaliated and Jeonghan sighed, trying to hold him back before he could punch him again.

"That was an accident," he said and Jisung chuckled sarcastically.

"Then me punching you was an accident, big brain," Jisung glared at him and the man groaned before taking the phone off his ear and shoving it back in his pocket. "Exactly, now get out," he kicked the air once the man left. Jisung let out a sigh as he put his hands on his knees before looking up and the whole entire diner was looking at him and his face heated up. "Uh.." he started playing with his fingers as he looked around before sighing and putting back on a smile. "The girl he burnt is my girlfriend so I'm sure you all would get a wee bit pissed off if someone hurt your significant other," he did a full 90 degree bow and everyone put smiles on their faces again.

"It's alright, buddy. I understand," a guy at the back put his arm around his girlfriends shoulder and she looked up at him and she squinted her eyes in embarrassment before sitting down and shaking her head. Jisung let out a laugh before bowing again and running into the back to see if Sooah was alright.
