The party was making the most of their new cause, they had set up in a clearing twenty miles away from the village they started in so the horses could finally catch a break and something to eat, Bran was worried about how Corrin was holding up, the poor boy could run a whole track a few times round in a matter of minutes but he wasn't used to continuous labor "there there boy, I got something to fill your stomach, let's get you some rest.

Bran had led Corrin into the stable doors at the back of the Silverpelin which conveniently lead to a small barn-like space, however, when he returned for the second horse she seemed perfectly full of energy and food yet insistent on entering the stables with Corrin.

"Awwww, my baby boy has a horsie girlfriend!" Bran quickly gave in and helped the strange blue equine up into the stables with Corrin, at the very least to get out of the thunderstorm and keep them away from the harm that may lurk out in the wilderness where he couldn't protect them from inside.

To remedy the rain, Phebis has begun construction of a central booth on the front of the driver's seat where the jockey or jockeys, as the two-person driving shifts would have it, could sit, and custom made horse rain jackets using old horse armor blueprints as a starting point.

Naal offered to help but could only do so much before Luanne dragged him off for the only free time they had together since they got engaged and took a week off, they were going to take advantage of this adventure to spend some quality couple time, a theme being reciprocated whole-heartedly by Bran and Hestia.

After putting the horses away Bran waited patiently for his tiny goblin maid to arrive, trotting down the stairs he found Hesita wearing a night-black goblin-sized capelet to protect her from the rain, holding a small picnic basket hung on her arm.

Bran was begrudgingly wearing a fluffy wool-lined jacket which Hestia insisted he bring after seeing him drenched by rain and gaining the new paranoia that he could contract a cold, not that she'd mind the opportunity to take care of him.

Bran greeted her with a smile and a "Hello gorgeous~" making Hestia blush before taking her hand into his and stepping out the door clicking a small button on his hip attached umbrella causing wires to spring out and a dome of aboleth hide rain protection to shield them from the torrential downpours.

Hestia clung to Bran's side fiercely which she claimed was to use him for cover from the rain and position herself better under the already generously sized umbrella, but it was clear that she truly just wanted to take in his warmth and presence while clinging to him in a manner she might find a little embarrassing in front of others.

The pair made a trek through the woods navigated by Bran who had read about this particular forest and dreamed of coming here for ages memorizing the layout and smiling once he found their destination, "we're here bella~" Bran announced sweetly flavoring his language with a bit of goblinish he picked up.

Every Fae bone in Hestia's body tingled as she felt a strong connection to the Feywild in this location before in an instant it subsided as quickly as it appeared "W-woah..." Hestia shivered and clung tighter to her boyfriend for support as her skin broke out in hard goosebumps.

Bran placed a hand around her shoulder and continued to walk with sureness in each step, the damp ground beneath them was soft and the call of distant thunder was electrifying in contrast to the soothing wight noise of the downfall on their umbrella.

The misty woods began to swirl with fog and when the pair passed through a particularly blinding cloud they came to a cave entrance.

The cave was low down and wide, burrowing deep down into the ground yet no rain seemed to trickle in.
