Miraak was doing research in the extensive library of Apocrypha. But as the day went on, he became more and more tired...falling asleep at the desk he sat at.

He dreamed of a woman. A woman who was so beautiful she could make any man swoon over her. A woman who looked to be more like a goddess than a mortal being. If it weren't for the fact that she was only a part of his dream, he probably would've taken her right then and there, in the meadow where she stood.

He woke up and decided to forget about the odd encounter- he buried it deep into the darkest depths of his mind, not needing anything to do with it for any longer.

Many weeks later while he was doing such research, a loud crashing sound alerted him. He swiftly left the library to find the source of the noise- only to be met with the woman from his dreams. Something in him clicked- she was Dragonborn. This piqued his interest more.

"Ah, you are Dragonborn. I can feel it...and you've slain Alduin? Impressive. I could've done so myself...though I chose a different path." He smirked under his mask.

The woman scowled. "I'm here to defeat you, Miraak!"

"Oh, no no, you cannot...in your state..." Miraak sensed another mortal presence- he couldn't tell from where. He cast a quick lighting spell on the woman and noticed how her hands immediately went to protect her stomach.

So she is with child...

"Send her to wait for my arrival...with the rest of Tamriel." Miraak turned away and went straight to the library once more. He felt a bud of jealousy grow in his stomach, but he wiped the feeling away.

Remember, emotions will only stop you from achieving your goal.

But curiosity clouded his senses and he sent his cultists to find her. He demanded they give him all the information they discovered- anything relating to her- he wanted it all. It became an obsession. Day after day spent fantasizing about this one woman.

All because she appeared in a dream.
