Life watching

I headed downstairs for my now daily visit to talk to Jordan. I was going to play with his mind a bit today. See what happens! I sat down across from him and smiled a sneaky smile. "So, what do you want to talk about today?" He asked me. I reminded him about telling me about other people. "Oh ya! I almost forgot. So you want to know if there are more people like us. Truth Is... Yes... There are others. Most are less fortunate but others are with me. We run what you would call "A secret Society". We live together and the only deal is that you don't tell anyone and you have to leave your family. I want you to join us as soon as you get out of here. Your nurse says only 2 more days! I can't believe what I would do if something happened to you like the other guy..." He stopped explaining. What other guy? Secret society? What do they do? I had so many questions!
"What other guy? What happened to them? I need to know!" I started to panic. Jordan looked at his watch and stood up.
"I am sorry Raven. It is time to go. I will visit you the day you get out. We may talk again later. Good bye for now. Please, think about my offer." He walked away at that. I sat for a few minutes and decided to press the button. I was in shock. I couldn't move I was so confused. How could I leave my family, my mom, my brother? So i sat there until Sarafina came and took me back to my room.

The last day at the hospital

I have been off the IV for a while now. My legs are still casted till tomorrow and I use crutches but I am able to go now. I have been rummaging around my room gathering my stuff for the past hour. I have decided I am going to go with Jordan. I will leave my family. On one term, I still get to go to the same school and I get to see my family 3 times a month at the least. Jordan is coming to pick me up at 11am so I am just killing time by slowly packing my stuff. By the time he showed up I was putting on my shoe and getting my crutches.
Jordan took me to his car and we drove to a big warehouse. He led me inside and I looked around. I saw 4 people sitting in what looked like a makeshift living room. They all had glasses like mine. A girl, the only girl, stood up and walked over to me. She put out her hand and smiled at me. I took it and looked at her, she had a bright smile and brown hair. She looked like a business woman. She shook my hand gently and told me her name. "Hi! Welcome to our home. I am Matilda, this is Glenn and Zach." She pointed to a asian boy and another boy. They all looked around my age. Glenn and Matilda were a bit older and Zach looked around a year of my age.
I stood and stared, then Jordan said from behind me, "This is Raven. She got in an accident and is one of us. She just developed life watching and is still learning. I expect you all to help her and answer any questions. She doesn't wear her glasses much yet so be careful. Now, Matilda, will you please show Raven around and meet us in the kitchen for dinner in 2 hours." Jordan walked around giving orders and I followed Matilda toward a hall with lots of pictures on it. The people in all the pictures had glasses and looked like us. I stopped in front of one at the end of the hall. It was a picture of me...
