I walked in the door feeling like my every move was being watched. Zack, not far behind seemed to be blending in fine. I thought I was the one who used to go to this school? As I went to my locker I found Danny. He was standing a few lockers away from mine (very convenient right?) with some cheerleader. Of course, because why would it be easy? Grace. Grace Martin. Captain of the cheer squad. The most desired girl in school. Her and her bouncy blond curls and perfect eyeliner. Ugh! How I hate her!

I turned around to see Zack standing inches away from me. I backed up a bit in hopes of getting a bit more personal space. Then I whispered "That's Danny... And that's Grace, probably his girlfriend. Now what do I do?" I explained to Zack as we both stared over at them. This was a stupid idea, I can't believe I even followed through and came here! Zack just laughed and smiled at me like he already had a plan. Confused, I stared at him blankly.

The bell rang and I had to head to class. I wasn't enrolled anymore so we came up with a story that I was showing my "friend" Zach the school so he could see if he wanted to go. We followed Danny to his class and decided Zach would use it as a way to get close to Danny so we could get him alone.

ZACH POV

I walked into Danny's history class a couple minutes after the bell. Perfect timing though. "Hello. Can I help you with something?" The teacher asked.
"Im doing a test day of classes. I wanted to see what the school was like. Do you mind if I join your class?" I responded acting nervous but excited. The teacher totally believed it!
"Oh how delightful! Stand up here, we are just about to start a study activity in groups. I will explain and then you can pick a group to be in!" She seemed so excited. That was perfect, I would just pick Danny's group, and vwala!
The teacher introduced himself as Mr. Byers and explained the activity. I picked Danny's group, obviously, and introduced myself. "So, why are you joining our school?" Danny asked with a bit of an annoyed attitude. "I just moved here. Cut me some slack dude. I chose you group because I thought you looked like a cool dude." I responded trying to fit in.
"Sorry man. I'm not much of a person to greet the new kid. Don't take offense." He offered his hand "the name's Danny. Or at least that's what everyone calls me." He game a smirk. I took his hand and nodded. This might actually work. "Hey man, how about I make up for my behavior. Let's hang tonight. You and me, we can go to this sick rave." He offered. BINGO, I nodded again and said thanks. We both went silent and started working with the group.

It was the end of the day and I had to find Raven. We agreed to meet by Danny's locked, on "accident". As if right on cue Danny and Grace were there too and I could see Raven across the hall. We nodded and both walked at each other. "Hey Danny! Sorry to bother you but what time do you wa-" Raven rammed into my shoulder and we both dropped our books. Perfect!

RAVEN POV

I hit Zachs shoulder mid sentence, a little earlier then I was supposed to, and exactly as we wanted, we dropped our books grabbing Danny's complete attention. Instantly he knelt down with me and started grabbing my books. I focused on what ones he grabbed and tried to creat one of those "movie moments". We both grabbed my "Love at first sight?" Book at the same time and looked up. Looking into a Danny's eyes flooded back memories of why I had a crush on him before. He was gorgeous. We both froze there for several moments before I panicked and dropped my book. Danny stood up and handed it to me "here..." he said in such a light tone. I smiled slightly and looked away.

*meanwhile*

ZACH POV

Danny knelt down and started helping Raven, which gave me a chance to talk to Grace. "Hey. You must be Grace?" I mentioned
"Yeah. Grace, Cheer Captain and girlfriend of Danny." She said in a snotty tone. I already hated her.
"Interesting. For as long as I have known Danny, he never once mentioned you. I definitely would take way more pride if you're captain of the cheer team." Hint hint... I was totally lying. Danny constantly talking about her and how lucky he was. And I just met him!
Disgusted, Grace stared at Danny as he handed Raven her book. Danny turned toward Grace and reached out to wrap his arm back around her but she pulled away. Then made a huffing sound and stormed away. Well that was easy...
"Gezz... what happened to her?" Raven asked.
"No idea." Danny shrugged disappointedly. "Hey, do you want to join Zach and I tonight? I was taking Grace to this rave with Zach, but obviously that's not going to happen."
"Sure! Sounds fun! Can you pick me up?" Raven responded excitedly
"Yeah. How's 7? We can grab some dinner before, if you two want?" Danny said to us
"I will drive myself. Meet you there around 9?" I said winking at Raven.
"Sure dude. Sounds good." Danny said then started to walk away. Raven and I walked out together a few minutes later, not trying to follow him too closely. Today went pretty well, and the easy part was now done. Let's home tonight works. The rest of this is up to Raven to complete, let's hope she's up for it.
