Regulus Arcturus Black seemed like your average 17-year-old British College student. From the outside, it looked as if he had a nice happy family with a loving mother, father and older brother but his family was far from that. The secret in his family is that during his older brother Sirius Blacks' 3rd year of high school and Regulus' 2nd, Sirius decided to run away but that isn't the big secret. Where and why did Sirius run away do you ask? Well first of all he ran off to the Potter household as he was close friends with James and Cordelia Potter and why? Well, it was because Sirius was being abused. Eventually, it got to the point where he couldn't handle it anymore and so he just left to the Potters as they were his only option.

This meant that Regulus was left all on his own in that dreadful house with the two people he wishes he didn't have to call his parents. Though through thick and thin Regulus dealt with anything that came his way as he didn't want to make things worse but sometimes it became to much...

As the sound of the alarm clock chimed through the young Blacks' room, Regulus slowly woke up. He carefully stood up and walked to the other side of his room to turn off the alarm, 6:30 am it read, perfect. Regulus picked up the clothes he laid out on his chair from last night and headed towards his bathroom just as he reached the door two firm pretentious bangs could be heard from his main door. 'Regulus Black are you awake yet!' His father's voice thundered from the other side of the door.
'Yes father.' He replied very carefully
'Brilliant be in the kitchen in precisely 30 minutes and not a second later. Got it?' Orion's voice rumbled again.
'Yes Sir.' The young Black replied sternly and with that, his father disappeared downstairs.

Regulus made sure to get washed adequately and dressed as casually yet pleasingly as possible knowing that he would just leave his hair be as the curls wouldn't drop out as they are all-natural. By the time Regulus had finished it was 7:03 am so he yanked his bag and swung it over his right shoulder. Racing down his stairs he made his way to the kitchen and stopped immediately at the door, his heart sank. He looked at his father noticing that he was looking at his pocket watch (because Orion be like that in 2014) .
'13 seconds to spare... Well done boy.' He informed Regulus sternly. Regulus just nodded in response.
'Eat Regulus. I want you out of this house in 45 minutes. Got it?' Walburga Black proclaimed sharply to her youngest son staring him dead in the eyes. Regulus gulped 'Yes ma'am.' He managed to choke out. She just nodded in response.

Regulus finished eating his food and stood up taking his plate over to the sink depositing it in and walking back to the table grasping his bag up from the floor that was next to his chair.
'Goodbye Mother and Father. I shall see you when the term is over.' Regulus announced to his parents who simply just hummed and nodded in return. And with that, he exited the house and headed towards his college where he will spend the next term living with his friends.

As he opened the door to his College he walked in and let out a sigh of relief it was quie- 'REGGIE!' Someone screamed. Regulus swiftly spun to his left to notice a girl running towards him and hearing two boys chuckling behind her. Regulus immediately recognised who it was.
'DELIA!' He screamed back. Both of them ran at each other and met in each others arms leading them to fall to the floor in laughing fits. (A/N: Regulus is closer to Cordelia then anyone else. Sorry Siri you ditched him not her.)
'How are you?' She asked him in her usual singsong voice.
'Peachy.' He replied to her very bluntly.
'Uhhh how are you and your certain special someone?' He chuckled nudging her.
'Shut it.' She looked at him giggling 'We are doing great, I am just waiting for her to get here.' By that time the two boys had walked over.
'Hey Regulus.' The elder Potter told him.
'Hello James. How are you?' Regulus questioned.
'I'm doing well, thank you.' He responded. Which Regulus nodded in return.
'Regulus.'
'Sirius.'
'How are my nemesis.' He consulted him.
'Same old, same old.' Reg replied.
The Potter siblings kept glancing between each other and the Black siblings as if they were saying 'one of us needs to brake the tension.'
'So Regulus.....' The eldest Potter began 'excited for the new term?'
'Yes. I can actually get away from my dreadful parents and that dim house for a while.' Regulus retorted but not in a negative way. Just as he said that Cordelia ran off towards the door. All three boys turned to their right to catch a glimpse of Cordelia and Lily Evans kissing.
'Ewwwwwww.' The three boys expressed sarcastically and simultaneously. Lily and Cordelia just stuck their middle fingers up at them.

The two broke apart and began to walk back to the three when lily shouted. 'Hey Remus.' Once again the three boys spun around but this time to their right.
'Hey Lily, Hey guys. How are you all?' Remus replied then asked.
Good's and okay's were murmured around the group of friends.
'Well, the gangs all here.' Cordelia mentioned
'All here and in peace.' Regulus added looking and nodding at her. To which she nodded back.
'Yeah but not for long.' Sirius and James pointed out while pointing behind Regulus, Remus and Cordelia.

So here is the first chapter once again since the first version had disappeared. This one has had more things added to it. The characters still have a thing for nodding though. Anyways buh bye. ✌️
