Izzy's Major Leg Surgery

Jake's POV

Today is Izzy's surgery on her leg. It was 5:00am and we had to get to the hospital, ten minutes before 7:00am. We were all getting ready to go to the hospital.

Izzy's POV

I woke up and I saw that Jake was up. I realised that it was the day of my surgery. I quickly covered my head with my duvet as Jake came in.

"Hey Izzy. Are you ready for your...surgery?" Jake asked me.

I suddenly felt my duvet come off my head as Jake pulled it off my head.

"Cmon Izz, it's your surgery day." Jake exclaimed.

"But I don't want to go to the hospital. I'm too scared." I exclaimed, scared.

"Izz, I understand but don't worry, you're going to be in good hands. The doctors and nurses will keep you safe. So are you ready to get out of bed?" He asked me as he held his hand out.

"I guess so." I exclaimed as I grabbed hold of his hand.

Cubby's POV

Jake and Izzy came downstairs while Izzy was using her crutches. Jake had his hand behind Izzy, in case she started to fall.

"So what's for breakfast?" Izzy asked me.

"You're not allowed to eat eight hours before your surgery, Izz." Jake exclaimed.

"And how many hours is it before my surgery?" Izzy asked him.

"It's less than four hours before your surgery Izz." Jake exclaimed.

"I'm really scared about my surgery." Izzy exclaimed.

"Don't worry Izz, everything is going to be okay." Jake exclaimed.

Izzy's POV

We arrived at the entry of the hospital. I was really nervous about going into the hospital.

"Guys, I'm really scared." I exclaimed.

"Izz, it's okay. You're going to be okay." Jake exclaimed.

"Are you sure?" I asked him.

"Yes, I'm sure." Jake exclaimed as we all walked into the hospital with Jake and Cubby holding my hands.

We walked over to the receptionist desk.

"Hello, this is Isabella Green and she is here for her surgery on her leg." I exclaimed.

"Yes. Here is your hospital wristband, it contains all your information on it, your date of birth, your full name, and why you are here." The receptionist exclaimed as she placed the hospital wristband on Izzy's wrist.

Izzy's wristband;

'Full Name: Isabella Rose Green.
Date of Birth: 07/04/06
Isabella is having surgery on her leg.'

"Thank you." I exclaimed.

"Now, go and wait in the waiting room until your name is called out." The receptionist exclaimed as we went to the waiting room.

We sat down in the waiting room, waiting for Izzy's name to be called out.

"Cubby?" I called for Cubby.

"Yes?" He asked me as he looked up from the magazine that he was reading.

"Why are you reading a magazine?" I asked him.

"Because I'm bored and I don't want to be at the hospital." Cubby exclaimed.

"Cubby, can I see that magazine?" Jake asked him.
