The Event That Risked Izzy's Life

Physio Therapy

Izzy's POV

It was my first day at the physio therapy for my back, arm, and leg. I was really nervous as I was bouncing my leg a lot while Jake was reading a magazine.

"Izz, are you alright?" Jake asked me as he looked up from his magazine.

"No, I'm really nervous about the physio therapy." I exclaimed.

"Well how about you look at this article in this magazine." Jake exclaimed as I took the magazine from him and started to hit him on the head with it.

"Ow!" Jake exclaimed as I stopped hitting him with it.

"You can really hit." He exclaimed as he rubbed his shoulder.

"Isabella Green?" The Physio Therapist called for me.

"That's me." I exclaimed as I got up from the chair.

"I'll come as well." Jake exclaimed as we began to follow the Nurse to the physio room.

"So the information that I've got here that you were in an accident, you broke your arm and leg. You also fractured your back. Now your back and arm is healed but needs physio therapy. You also had surgery on your leg but your leg is still in recovery. Is that the correct information I've got here?" The Physio Therapist asked me.

"Yep!" I exclaimed.

"So I was thinking that we start working on your back and arm." She exclaimed.

"That's fine with me." I exclaimed.

"Okay, let's start with your back. Follow me to the table." She exclaimed as we followed her to the table.

"Please lie down on the table." She exclaimed as she took my crutches off me.

Jake lifted me up and placed me on my stomach on the table.

"Okay the first exercise that we're going to do is massaging your back." The Physio Therapist exclaimed as she began to massage my back.

"Oh, that feels nice." I whispered as I felt really comfortable.

"Huh? You're supposed to help the muscles in her back become more stronger. Not giving her a spa treatment." Jake exclaimed as he sounded a bit annoyed.

"This will help to relax her muscles in her back. Izzy, can you sit up for me?" She asked me as I sat up.

"Now I want you to roll your shoulders back and forth." The Physio Therapist exclaimed as I began to roll my shoulders back.

"That's it Izz. You're doing great!" Jake exclaimed as I kept doing it.

"What do I do now?" I asked her.

"You will lie down on your back and raise your arm up and down, slowly. We're going to work on your arm now." She exclaimed as I started to raise my arm up and down, slowly.

"That's it Izz. You're doing really good." Jake exclaimed.

"Now please sit up and start to lift your arm up and down again." She exclaimed as Jake helped me to sit up.

I started to lift my arm up and down, slowly.

"Now your leg is going to need the most attention since you had surgery on it." She exclaimed as I was really confused.

"I thought I wouldn't be doing exercises on my leg." I exclaimed, confused.

"This is for your back as well. This exercise is these walking poles. So sit down in this chair and try to get up without your crutches. We will grab your arms, in case you fall over." She exclaimed as I was really nervous.
