i didn't want anyone to go with us. i wanted to make it right because i had been ignoring tae. 

i tried making it up to him by letting him buy whatever he wanted, but he came back to me crying and asked if we could leave the mall immediately.

i tried making it up to him by making banana bread, but jungkook came out of nowhere and i didn't want to be bratty so i asked tae if he could help us.

now i'm trying to make it up to him by getting him more banana bread, but taehyung wanted  jin hyung to come, so why would i say no?

jin hyung was driving and i was sitting in the back, letting tae cuddle me. the amount of sudden guilt i felt was insane. i ignored tae for so long, just so i could be "cool" and gain attention. the fuck was i thinking? poor tae, how did he get through all of that? i'm so bad at this, yet he always comes back to me. 

"this one?" jin hyung slowed down in front of a large store that read "24/7 market".

"yep," i said as jin turned and parked the car. 

we rushed inside the market, taehyung being the fastest out of pure excitement. 

"banana bread, banana bread~," he sang.

we turned to the baked goods section in the back of the market, it smelled so good, i could just eat it whole. (cough cough choke choke)

"oh, my, gosh." taehyung stopped in front of a table with a sign in the middle that said "glazed blueberry banana bread". 

jin and i laughed as taehyung took four boxes, one by one, and stacked them in his arms. he peeked his head to the side of the boxes and said with a great smile, "let's go."

"okay, let me just get the instant noodles." jin said as he rushed to the noodles and pasta section.

"okay!" i turned my head and loudly said, hands still in my coat pocket. "um taehyung, do you want me to hold those for you?" 

i couldn't see his reaction because the boxes were covering his face, but i could hear a straightforward "no" from him.

"see you guys later, jimin- take care of taehyung! i'll come tomorrow so you can get your car." jin was parked in front of the apartment building, dropping us off. it was a thing for us, we'd go to jin's and end up staying late so he would drop us off. then the next day he'd pick us up so we could bring my car back. and this happened often because tae was always over, and it was before i started ignoring him and we were real, real best friends. 

"yes, i will, thanks for the ride!" i called to jin and waved as he drove away. 

"it's cold." taehyung said with a red nose, trying to get cozy in my coat that i had let him wear because he said his is too thin.

"aw, it's ok, let's get inside," i said.

we were greeted with the warmth off the apartment lobby as we rushed up the stairs to my apartment. 

as we walked inside, taehyung ran to the dining table and practically ripped the box open. after, he grabbed the whole loaf and took a bite. "yum!!!! jimin do you want some??" he ran over to me, doe eyes and a big smile.

i couldn't even answer, taehyung probably didn't realize that i was leaning against the wall, laughing so much i couldn't breathe.

"say ahhh," taehyung ripped a piece off and hovered it around my mouth.

"ahhhh," i opened my mouth and let him plop the bread in. "mmm, this is so good," i said, trying to grab the loaf from taehyung's hands. 

"nooo, mine~~," taehyung giggled. 

"nooo," i chuckles and started running after him. "my bread~~."

taehyung laughed and ran around the apartment. "catch me if you can!"

so that's how the night went, us chasing each other around with banana bread until we both eventually fell asleep on the couch in the middle of the night.

btw, if ya'll are curious as to "where did college go?" right now winter break is taking place in the story so yeah lmao
