The truth

<Back on BBHs POV like normal>

"BAD! BAD!" I heard Sapnap yell which made me get out of bed right away and go downstairs. I should have changed out of my duck onesie cause I look like a childish dork.

I rushed down the stairs to see Sapnap in the living room with fire in his hands "Huh..? How?" I was very confused on this "Sap please be careful!" I was watching him play with fire until it went out "Aww.." his smile faded away

"Hey you little muffin that was impressive!" I smiled at him trying to make Sapnap happy again "I know!" Sapnap but his hands on his hips like he was a superhero statue thing. I was thinking about Sapnap yelling my name instead of Dad.

"Sap.. if you don't mine me asking why did you call Bad instead of dad?" I asked him which made him lose his focus on starting the fire again "W-What...? I didn't  call you bad I called you dad!" I could tell he was lying. I picked Sapnap off the floor and plopped him on the couch and I sat beside him. "Please Sapnap. Tell the truth." I sighed. "I Uhm... uh..." Sapnap was scared to tell me I could tell. I placed his panda on his lap and he hugged it "Now will you tell me?" I asked again and he nodded "when I came home after visiting Karl I kinda went into your room... and looked in a journal I saw on your desk"

I paused my life felt like it left, I didn't know what to do "A-and... uh. I kinda read a bit of it. Bad.. please tell me you didnt adopt me and all that is fake." HOW THE MUFFINS ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO TELL AN 8 YEAR OLD ABOUT ALL THIS? I was tapping my foot really quick on the ground thinking on what to do. "Uhm.. uh. Yeah all that is fake Sappy!" I gave him a fake smile

"Bad your lying!" Sapnap snapped at me I kinda deserved to be yelled at by an 8 year old "Bad! Please just tell me the truth!" Sapnap was starting to tear up, I grabbed Sapnap and pulled him into a hug "shh sh it's alright, everything you read was true but at least your safe and sound now my little muffin" I picked Sapnap up and did the usual to calm him down.

Sapnap calmed down and was gripping onto my hoodie and I let out a little laugh and kept walking in circles. "Now that I know the truth.. may I steal one of your hoodies?" Sapnap still had his head on my shoulder "hm... fine Sappy." I placed him down and he ran to my room.

I started making muffins due to Sapnaps birthday coming up soon. Sapnap ran down the stairs in my hoodie "I ROCK THIS BETTER THAN YOU DAD!" Sapnap sounded proud of himself and hugged me "Thank youuuuu!" I messed up his hair and smiled "Your welcome you little muffin" He grabbed the bowl that had muffin batter in it and took some off the side to try it "Delicious!" He placed the bowl down "Sappy! Don't eat raw batter!" I tapped him on top of the head and went back to making muffins.

Sapnap went outside to go practice using a sword while I made muffins while keeping an eye on him to make sure he didn't get hurt. Sappy kept trying to start a flame, he successfully did it and I smiled at him while giving him a thumbs up. Sapnap ran inside exited "DID YOU SEE THAT DAD!?" Sapnap was smiling I looked at his hands that were a bit burnt "I did see Sapnap!" I smiled while wrapping his hands with bandages

I took the muffins out of the oven placing them on the counter to cool before going upstairs to write for a little bit before I heard "AAAAAA TO HOT TO HOT!" I went downstairs and just stared at Sapnap who was holding a muffin "mhm... definitely not catching a crime happen." I laughed before picking him up.

He layed his arms and head on my shoulders before falling asleep. I sat on the couch and drifted off into sleep.
