As the months went on Emily's behaver became worse. Her parents gave up on trying to get her to go to Church. She didn't speak to Jonah or Catherine anymore, and while she missed them she did nothing to fix it. So Emily got new friends who brought her down even more and got her to do stuff she wouldn't usually do. There wasn't a time where she wasn't grounded. Her parents tried and tried to talk to her about it but that only made it worse so they stopped trying that too.

                                                                ....................................................................

"Hey Em what are you doing this weekend?" asked one of Emily's new "friends". "Nothing why? I mean I'm grounded but then again I'm always grounded. What are you planning?" "Well Jimmy is getting a new car this weekend  and we wanted to take it for a little spin up the mountain. Want to come?" Emily hesitated. " do you mean Jimmy is going to steal the car this weekend? And the mountain? NO BODY drives up there." "He isn't stealing, he's borrowing and why not enjoy life while we can." "That's exactly what I want to do enjoy living not dying." Emily said. "Don't be such a party pooper." "I'll think about it okay." Emily replied already making up her mind. "Well if you do decide to come, my house 9:00am tomorrow. Jimmy should have the car by then." "Okay thanks." Emily definitly had her mind made up. Or did she?

                                                               .................................................................

"Hey I'm home." called Emily as she walked in the door. She had been given back her keys to the car because her mom and dad were sick of getting into fights with her when they were driving her home. "Okay sweety" was her mom's only rely. Her mom had started talking to her in sentences now while her dad still would reply with as few words as possible.Which probably hurt her most out of everyone who was ignoring her. Emily used to be so close to her dad.

Later that night at the dinner table Emily, for what seemed like the 1,000th time tried to get her dad to talk to her like he used to."So my friends asked me to do stuff with them tomorrow." Emily started off."Your grounded." was al her dad said. "I told them no." Emily said. I mean that was sorda true, she hadn't said yes. "Good." was her fathers response. Emily couldn't stand it anymore. "good. that's all you have to say? Yeah I know I've dissapointed you a lot recently dad but even mom is talking to me when you only give me  one or two word answer! I finally did something right and all you have to say is  good? I guess I've changed to the point to where you don't see me as your daughter. Only a hopeless sinner that's not going to heaven!" Once Emily had finished she ran upstairs. Her dad did nothing other then sit there. "Emily come back!" her mother called.

Emily wanted to break something so her heart wouldn't be alone. The first thing she saw was her Bible. She turned to a random page and rip. What had she done? She held the page in front of her and looked at  the damage she had done. She put the one paper from her Bible in her pocket.Emily through herself on the bed and started to cry. There was a knock at the door. Emily peeked her head up a glimor of hope it was her dad. "Emily can you unlock the door so I can come in?" It was her mom. "Just go away. Emily managed to say through the flood of tears. "Your father loves you very much you know that don't you?" her mother called from the other side of the door. "Then why isn't he the one at the door?" Silence.

\Emily changed her mind she was going on that car ride. Not like anyone would miss her. They already thought her dead didn't they? When everyone was asleep Emily packed some clothes in a duffle and almost put her phone in it too but the realized it had a racking app on it so she decided against it. This wasn't the first night she was going to be gone. She was going to be gone for a long time.

Emily slowly opened her door making sure she didn't wake anybody up. There was one thing she had to do before she left. She quitly opened her little brothers door, tip toed over to the bed, gave him a gentle kiss on the forhead, and left a note. She would miss them, yes, but she couldn't do this any longer.
