III

Titan and I hung out the whole day yesterday. We painted some, ate cookies, listened to some weird music and I even tatted him. He cried afterwards, but hey it looks cool. The tattoo I gave him is similar to mine except it's smaller and is on his side instead of his arm. His mom didn't mind thank god. I guess he wasn't lying when he said his parents are laid back.

It's the next day and i'm laying in bed while staring at the ceiling. The elders called once they found out that i'm not in school. I told them I would go and here I am, still in bed. That's going to stay the same until they call again. My phone starts to ring and I assume it's the elders so I pick it up after a while.

"Old hag leave me alone. I'll go to school another day."

"Oh, so i'm a old hag now?" Titan asks, amusement clear in his voice.

"Yeah pretty much."

"Why aren't you in school?"

"Why are you in school?"

"I have to be" he sighs.

"Well, I don't and i'm not going anytime soon."

I sit up and throw on a nearby hoodie along with my boots. Titan put me on mute for a second and I used that time to leave the house. Twenty minutes later he took me off and I stood in front of the school. Well, here I am.

"Can you come to school please?"

I smile slightly, knowing he was going to ask that and it's exactly why i'm here.

"Where are you?"

"In the science lab on the second floor."

I hang up the phone and walk into the school, ignoring the stares that I got. They have a serious staring problem. If they keep this up, I might put a few of them in the nurses office. People staring at me is one thing that I don't like. You may say I sound hypocritical given yesterday and how Titan kept staring at me. He's excused from the rest of them.

I get to the second floor and search for the science lab. I would know where it was if I didn't skip school yesterday. Do I regret it? Pft, hell no. After looking in about three rooms, I find the science lab. Opening the door, Titan sat at a desk with his head down and phone in front of him.

"He's actually sleeping" I whisper, and sit next to him. I take his phone and take a picture of me before setting the picture as his lock screen. I put it back afterwards and lay my head down, like him before closing my eyes. I'm not going to sleep, but there's nothing to do except wait for him to wake up.

Two hours later, he wakes up and looks around. My eyes stay closed as he gets up and stretches. I'm sure he saw the picture of me because I hear him gasp lightly. He can delete it if he wants to, I just thought it'd be funny.

"Amaria? Are you awake?"

"Mhm."

"We missed two classes, c'mon it's probably time for lunch."

I open my eyes and look up at him.

"Why didn't you go to class?"

"I was...waiting for you" he says, sheepishly.

"Hm, school isn't my thing. I'd rather stay home and sleep" I tell him in all honesty. I stand up and stretch as well. We go out of the classroom and head to the cafeteria.
