Winter.

Hogsmeade.

At Hogsmeade, it always seemed to be winter. All year round, there were sheet of sparkling white on the ground, covering the little shops and homes. There was always a longing to go to HoneyDukes, the sweet shop located on High Street, that let out a sugary smell of cocoa to everyone that passed by.

I couldn't wait to run down the hill and go around the shrieking shack to the beautiful village.

"I can't believe you're going without me, I hate this." Onyx coughed, dust off of our desk flying off, "we need to clean this," She coughed again and I sat back down on my bed, opening up my backpack and checking to make sure I had everything inside of it. "Aura!"

"What?" I looked up,

She rolled her eyes, "pay attention," She snapped, groaning.

I smiled and left the bag behind to walk up to her. I looked into our mirror and ran my hand through her hair, "Did snape tell you what you have to do?"

"Instead of going to hogsmeade?"

"Instead of going to hogsmeade, yes." I repeated, still smiling. She frowned and showed me the note that Wintry, her owl had flown in this morning.

Mrs. Deloughery,

You will spend the day organizing students papers for me in my classroom. Come at 11.

Proffesor Snape

I read it over. "That isn't that bad, imagine if Umbridge was still the teacher,"

"she always finds her way back into our lives," She shook her head and I laughed. "You have to go, though, huh?"

It was already 10:15 and I planned to meet the boys on the hill in 5 minutes.

"Fuck," I muttered, quickly pulling up my backpack. I kissed her on the cheek goodbye and closed the door, forgetting to lock it. Whatever, I was already so late.

I ran down the steps to the girls dormitories and met the cold floor of the common room. There were a few students roaming around and waiting for their friends, and other students packing their bags to stay the night. I checked my bag one more time to make sure that my clothes were secure, before heading out the passageway.

I briskly jogged through the hallways until the entrance hall, where I couldn't run as it was so crowded.

Fuck this.

I sprinted pass a few students and proffesors, I was deemed to be in trouble when I got back tomorrow morning, but I needed to get there.

I promised.

"Aura!" Blaise called out, as I ran out onto the snowy field, my palms that were sweating quickly freezed up from the icy air. I let out a breath and brought my hands to my knees.

Hey, at least I made it in time.

"You're a minute late," Lorenzo sassed and I looked up to see him covered in a ravenclaw shawl.

"when did you become a ravenclaw?" I said, fastening my backpack on my shoulder and following them out onto the hill, where we slowed down so we wouldnt slip or fall.
