Chapter 12:Death

Leo pov

We've been sitting in this dungeon for who knows how long, but it feels like a hundred years. Tartarus comes in and taunts us every so often but hasn't in a little bit. We were all sitting against the wall when Annabeth shot up. "Annabeth?" I asked.
Annabeth shivered. "Annabeth what's wrong?" Thalia asked. "Percy'' Annabeth breathed out. "What about him?" I asked. "I-I can hear him," she said. "What?" Thalia asked. "He must be in your bedroom talking to you," I said. She nodded slowly.
"What's he saying?" Thalia said as Annabeth's face paled. "I-I think he is going to try to come save us. Alone" She whispered. "No he can't, ugh that stupid kelp head." Thalia groaned. "Come on let's face it we all knew Peercy was going to do this'' I said. "Doesn't mean we like it" Thalia shot back. "I'm not saying I like it either but Percys not gonna let anyone else get hurt if he can." I answered. Thalia groaned and sat back against the wall. "I know... It's just.. He could get killed trying to get in here." She said. Annabeth paled even more. "He's not gonna get killed." I stated. Thalia glanced at Annabeth. "Yeah you're right He'll-he'll be fine" She said.

    Percy pov

I walked out of my bedroom and saw the others all there, including Lily, Blake and Claire. "Hey guys" I sat down and ran a hand through my hair. "Perce what was that?" Blake asked. "Well first it was a flashback but then it changed. The winged warrior was falling to the ground. I could tell it was a girl and i was going to go see who it was but first i heard Leo cry out. I turned and saw him kneeling over a body, crying. I was going to go see who it was when Piper cried out from my left." I glanced over at her and Jason. "She was leaning over Jason who was dead." Piper turned and hugged jason. "Then Frank yelled out. I turned again and saw him leaning over Hazels limp body." Frank hugged Hazel. "I walked over and was going to say something but i saw Annabeth" I stopped and a couple tears fell down my cheeks. The dream had been way to real. Way way too real "Percy what was it?" Clarisse asked. "She-She was laying on the ground. I ran over and she told me she wasn't going to make it. I called for Apollo and told her she would. Apollo appeared as she told me to move on. I told her i couldn't because she would live but all she did was tell me she loves me before-before her hand fell limp" i said. More tears fell down my face. "I know it was just a dream but it felt more real than any other dream i've ever had." I said. "Oh Percy" Luna said and hugged me. "That's why you hugged us then had to see Annabeth" Jason said, motioning to himself and Hazel. I just nodded.

    Then things started to go black. I knew what was happening and could hear everyone freaking out again as me and Nico blacked out.

My vision cleared and i saw Thalia and Leo talking in a corner and Annabeth curled up near the wall. "Annabeth thank goodness." I said and rushed over to her. The three finally noticed we were there and came over. I hugged Annabeth then kissed her shortly. "Kelp head what happened?" Thalia asked. I just shook my head. "He had a really bad dream during class where Jason, Hazel and Annabeth all died and apparently it felt more real than any dream he's ever had before" Nico answered for me. Annabeth, Thalia and Leo all paled dramatically. Annabeth's grip around me tightened. "Percy i could hear you." She said. I pulled back, "What?" "When you were talking to me earlier, i could hear you." She answered. "Yeah Kelp head and don't you dare try to find us by yourself" Thalia interrupted. "Wait what?" Nico asked. "Nothing" I answered. "It's not nothing, Seaweed brain, you could get killed if you leave Hogwarts to come find us." Annabeth said. "Percy you can't just leave us at hogwarts and run away." Nico said. "Death breaths right, waterboy. You cant try to find us alone." Leo said. I was going to answer him but Tartarus chose that moment to walk in.
   

"Ah good. You're here" he said and grinned evilly. "What do you want?" I asked. "Well i want revenge of course." He answered. "I'm the one that killed gaie. I'm the one that escaped." I said. "Oh no. Nico and Annabeth also escaped and Leo mostly killed Gaie." He said. "Than why is Thalia here?" I asked. "I can't say just yet can i." he answered then walked back out. "Wait Percy think about it." Annabeth said. "Think about what?" I asked. "The prophecy" She said. I stared at her with a blank look on my face. She shook her head. "You really are a seaweed brain." "Well duh" Thalia said. "Anyways what was the prophecy again?" I asked.
