Chapter 7: the realization

♡dorms 10:30pm♡

How is it still bright outside?

I stepped outside and on Bakugou's porch sat Viktoriya. She was resting on a chair and looking up at the navy blue sky filled with stars that were represented by white specks in the sky. It could be the stars reflecting off her ocean eyes but I couldn't help but notice how her eyes sparkled as she stared into space.

How could a girl look so perfect?

She suddenly looked down and saw me. I whip my head around and look to the side.

"What the fuck are you doing?" She said as she looked down at the dorm below her brothers.

"No-nothing..." I begin to grip the railing.

"you're gonna break that railing if you keep squeezing it like that... especially since your quirk is starting to go off..." I looked at my arms which have hardened and let go of the railing.

"Uh... so... what are you doing out here..."

"Probably the same as you dumbass getting some fresh air."

"Why not in your own dorm?"

"Do you have an issue with me visiting my brother or some shit?"

"W-what no! Not at all I'm just-"

"The view is better here"

"That's for sure..."

"What?"

"N-nothing. S-so... what do you mean by a better view?"

"A better view of the star's dumbass."

"A-are you into astronomy?"

"Don't be surprised. There's a lot you don't know about me. But I swear, if you tell ANYONE about how I love astronomy I won't be afraid to beat your ass."

"Why not?"

"What?"

"Why keep it a secret? If it's something that you're really passionate about? Why not let people know it."

"You're clueless aren't you? Damn, you're lucky you're cute." she looked into the night sky "Space and astronomy is for losers and there is no way in hell that I'm gonna be classified as any kind of fucking loser. Losers get beat up. I'm not one to get beat up, I'm the person that beats someone up."

(a/n: Ik that astronomy isn't just for losers. I actually am really into it but for the sake of this story lets roll with it)

"I think it's pretty cool that you like it... I mean you're already super smart but..."

Wait... did she say I'm lucky I'm cute?

"Fuck off... I'm heading back to my dorm" she got up and started to open the porch door then suddenly stopped "remember, if you tell ANYONE about this, you'll regret it."

"O-okay..." before she walked into her brothers dorm I spoke "m-maybe you could show me a few stars or constellations sometime..." she looked back at me.

"Maybe."

I don't know what it is about her.... It could be that she's super powerful and smart or that she never takes no for an answer or maybe just the fact that she's amazing to look at, but the more I think about her and the more time I spend with her, the more I like her. But lets face it... it's not platonic. Whether I like it or not, I have to face the facts. I have a crush on Viktoriya Bakugou.
