As we went back into the arcade I couldn't help but notice something

I walked around looking for Sharkboy after picking up some candy at the prize booth
"Tori!" I turned and saw Kiri walking towards me and was holding a shark plushie? "Hey! Oh! I got this for you from the claw machine towards the front of the arcade by the way!" I could feel my face heat up as I took the plushie from his arms
"Th-thanks..." I said looking down

It's a shark... reminds me of him
"We should probably head back now huh? It is getting pretty late" I checked my phone and it was already 8pm
"We've been here pretty long huh..." and with that we began to walk back to the dorms
-while walking-
I couldn't help but look at her from the corner of my eye. She was looking up at the sky while hugging the shark I got her. It somehow reminded me of the time when she opened up to me about her love for astronomy. Was it the setting or how the stars reflected off her eyes making them shimmer? Thinking about how that was the first time she had opened up to me that night made my smile widen.
