Chapter 18: the advice

"Why hello Kirishima Eijiro, how may I help you on this fine day?"

"So... a friend of mine asked me for advice, but I don't know how to reply and you're good with relationship advice right?"

"Yeah. So... who is this 'friend' of yours"

"Uh... F-for safety purposes I-I can't say"

"Mhm. Okay so what did this 'friend' ask you?"

"They asked me what they should do if they have a crush on a girl that finds them cute but annoying. Not to mention, she isn't looking for a relationship and they're friends but if he tells her that might ruin their friendship and that would cause a lot of complications in their friend group; since they're in the same friend group. Also, if she doesn't feel the same after he tells her that he liked her, it would get really awkward and she would most likely hate him forever and he really likes her so the last thing he wants to happen is her hating him and not being in his life. They have hung out in the past just the two of them and they think that they both had a good time, but that was as friends so he has no idea what to think. He doesn't have a single clue if she likes him back or not"

"Kiri... you could've just told me that you have a crush on Viktoriya and you need advice on what to do about it"

"W-what? No! It-it's not like that at all! This is a friend of mine and another girl that's not Viktoriya"

"Kiri, this girl is Viktoriya, no doubt. I don't think anyone matches that description better than her and the amount of information given to me makes it clear that it's you. Plus, you're not great at hiding your feelings. It's literally obvious that you like her. Everyone knows."

"Oh..."

"So you like Bakugou Viktoriya... how unexpected"

"Are you being sarcastic?"

"Kiri, I've known for a long time that you like Viktoriya"

"A long time?"

"Yeah probably before you even knew you liked her. It's pretty damn obvious, the way you get all flustered when she's around, you're constantly staring at her in class and showering her with compliments. You literally ask her to help you with homework when we both know that you know what you're doing."

"That's not always true. Sometimes I know what I'm doing but other times I make it up" she gave me a smug look "So, um, what do I do?"

"I say go for it"

"What?"

"Tell her"

"But if she doesn't like me then it'll-"

"Well why don't you make it casual?"

"Casual?"

"Well why don't you ask her to the school dance coming up? She can take it as friends or an actual date. She said that she doesn't want to go but if she likes you, she will for sure agree"

"Are you sure about this? What if she asks if it's as a date or just friends?"

"Then just ask if she wants to go with you or not"

"Okay... I think I can do that"
