Chapter Five

I looked at him and said "whatever Minho" then Newt said "we beed to have a gathering, Tommy your coming too." I said "so am i back at the farm or what?" Newt said "yeah you are have fun." I smiled and walked away Newt called me back and said "I don't know where you think your goin' but your going to the Gathering with us." I gave him a skeptical look and said "Why?" Newt said with a straight face "because you'd be over there with out a Keeper and i don't trust those Shanks around you with out a bloody Keeper." I bit my lip and then said "i can handle myself Newt i don't need to be protected." I start to walk away again but then Newt crosses in front of me and put his hands on my shoulders. He said "Sage i'm not asking you i'm telling you now c'mon." I said "fine" with a little angry glare he said "Good now lets go." He took my wrist and we went to the Gathering place. The Keepers all sat around the table Newt lead me around to a seat by him. I sat down and they started talking about what to do with Tom. I shrugged and just sat there. Then i heard a female voce in my head Hello? Arise?
Umm...
Oh uh i'm sorry...who are you?
I'm um a Sage wha-what the hell is going on!?
I'm Teresa and... I have no idea...
Well where? how did you? What?
Haha i have no clue by the way it sounds your just as confused as i am.
Then one of the Med-Jacks came busting in "SHE'S AWAKE!!" I stood up and said "who?" He said "that girl we pulled up before you she said her name is Teresa." I bit my lip and said "where is she now?" The Med-Jack said "in one of the towers throwing stuff." I said "ok then lets go..." Newt said "Sage no way" i glared at him and said "Newt! This girl is here and sounded by all boys she needs someone and i'm going weather you want me to or not." I walked around the table and fallowed the Med-Jack. I get to the tower she was at and climbed up it. I said "Whoa whoa hey" she had a heavy stick in her hands i said "Put the big stabby stick down." She looked at me and said "who are you?" I said "Sage..." her face softened and put the stick down. She asked "what is this place?" I said "the Glade" she heaved a shaky sigh. Then some was up here it was Tom She held up her stabby stick. I said "Put the stabby stabby thinggy down!!" Tom just stood there staring at me he said "its ok we wont hurt you" She said "o-ok" then Tom flashed a little smile at her. Then i said "lets climb down now." Teresa nodded and said "yeah" i was almost down when someone picked me up by the waist and set me down on the ground. It was Newt he looked mad and i said "N-Newt are y-" i was cut off with a pair of soft lips on mine. At first i was shocked but then i kissed him back. Then he pulled away and said "Sagey you are so important to me...i don't want anything to happen to you." He pushed the bangs out of my face i blushed a little. I hugged him he hugged me back. He said "Now go on back to the garden" i nodded and smiled. Then i started to walk away but then "Sage!" I zip around and it was Teresa it was some sort of machnicl slugish type beast. Tom "holy shit....its a Griever" SCREECH! The let out a loud un-holy scream. I freaked out and said "N-Newt what do we do?" He yelled "EVERYONE IN THE HOMESTEAD!" He took my wrist and made me go in But Tom was still standing there. Teresa got knocked down i ran to her and helped her up i yelled "TOM LETS GO!" His head snapped to me and we ran in. Once everyone was in we slammed the door shut. I slid down the wall Tom said "whoa..." Teresa sat down next to me she said "Sage whats going on?" I shook my head and said "No idea...Newt?" He shook his and said "how did those buggen things got in there?" I shrugged i bit my lip he said "Sagey its ok" he put his hand on my shoulder and patted it. SCREECH! I jumped and then Gally said "Bored up the Windows!!" I stood up and helped then when we where done i plopped down on a bed. Teresa said "are you ok?" I said "I'm fine i'm just well scared" she sat down next to me and said "i know what you mean...Hey you know Tom he can do the uh thingy..." I gave her a look and the realized what she meant. I said "oh really?" She nodded and she said "so is this what its always like?" I laughed a little and said "No no normally we work all day eat three times a day then go to sleep." I said with a smirk it was starting to get dark i heard no sound of the doors closeing. I heard distant sounds of Grievers and not so distant sounds of the Horrible screeches. I was terrified then Newt came over and laid down with me. He said "Sagey can't sleep?" I shook my head and said "no how can i with all those Grievers out there Screeching and making those clat clat sounds?" He looked at me and said "Sagey its alright i'm here." I suddenly felt better even tho i'm facing creation death i feel safe around Newt. He pulled me into his strong warm arms. I laid my head on his chest and drifted off into sleep.
___NEXT DAY___
I jolt up because of a loud and terrifying shriek. I breath heavily i try to calm myself then Newt sits up. He put his hand on my shoulder and said "Sagey your ok your alright." He stroked my hair i simply smiled and stood up i went to change i put on A red and black Flanil, a white tank top underneath,Bleached jeans, with my same Dirty boots. Newt said "Ok Tommy lets go to the slammer." I raised an Eyebrow and asked "why is he going in there?" Newt said "its the punishment we all decided on one day in the bloody slammer for Tommy." I shrug and say "well have....fun? I guess?" I smirked and laughed a little then there was a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and said "hm?" Teresa asked "soo what are we spouse to do now?" I shrugged and and said "wait until he gets back i spouse." SCREECH! I jump a little Teresa clutched my shoulder. She said "those things must be having a hoot out there." Tom said "we have to get out of here." Gally walked up and said "This is all your fault Greenie" Tom gave him a what the hell are you talking about look. Newt said "what are you going on about now slinthead?" Gally said "think about it...Our greenie servos one night in the Shucking Maze! Then this happens also that chick wakes up and she also caused this." I said "First off that Theory is insane completely and utterly insane, and Second of all she has a name and its Teresa, Third of all what the hell is going on in you Buggen' head?" Newt just smirked Gally smiled at me and said "ah Sage your the only good greenie." Then Two of the Builders Grabed Tom and Teresa Gally said "Take them to the slammer." Chuck said "what? Why are you takeing her? She did Nothing?!" Gally said "Chuck look around" they drug them out i face palmed the Newt said "don't worry will find away to get them out." Just then a Griever busted in latterly a hole in the wall. The Griever grabbed a hold of Chuck he yelled "SAGE!." I screamed "CHUCK!" I picked a sword that was laying there I grabbed Chuck by his shirt then Cut off the Grievers arm. SHREEK! The mechanical arm released Chuck he gasped then gripped my arm. I asked "you ok?" He nodded shakily i said "Newt we need to find another safe place." He said "medic or the Dinning hall." I nod and said "Ok so we just need to get there in one pice" I said with a light laugh. Then Gally said "don't worry i have a plan to get things back to normal" i gave him a look. Then we started to go to the dinning hall and or the medic.
