I held on while plunging the blade into Nico. Just below the gut, up into a heart or a lung. He grabbed at my hands and attempted to pull the knife out of him, then he went slack. I had to hold the bade in there but I went with him, I had to guide him to her, this is my duty. I chanted for a moment in some Greek and some Latin. I felt my physical form begin to fade as I transcended to that plane. The plane that all spirits walk on while our body's travel around our dimension. I saw him in his true form, I also saw all of his fears and insecurities floating through him. I can mask myself here but this was obviously his first time. There was no concept of time or space here, nothing to base. It is like an island I've heard about where the gods trapped some people. I felt out around me, searching for her. I called to him. Tugged him closer, but not to close. To close and he would see what I really am. That is something that I don't need for anyone to see. I found her. She called back. She wanted him too, and he heard her. He advanced toward her essence. I followed not to close, I couldn't see her well and I wanted to be a safe distance from them when they met. I saw just as they met and retreated back. The sight was blinding as they touched and I felt their emotions. It was powerful enough to make even me become momentarily transparent but I covered it quickly and my avatar of spirit was opaque. When the nova dimmed I moved closer to commune. I felt Bianca's gaze as I got close and she flashed with humor. She spoke with Nico,"We brought him back. You held him in the Styx. Welcome to purgatory Nico. It's not a perfect comparison but still, your here. And with a visibility of ten miles I see. As a son of Hades you should work on that. We don't want to see a lot of this through you. Just look at Jack, concrete is more see through than him." "You don't want to see." I replied to her light jest. She flashed with a look of panic. "You are in trouble! Leave now! I love you brother. More than anything but now you must go!" She yelled and I moved back into my body before Nico could follow. I was still standing with my knife in Nico's gut but his friend from Apollo cabin was at the door. He tried to rush my but I kicked out his knee and jabbed him in the back of the neck so he crumpled. Nico woke up and the knife slid out of his gut without leaving a mark. He saw the Apollo punk and ran to him and picked him up into his hands. He looked at me and yelled "What did you do to him!?" "Come on, any self respecting son of Hades knows the difference between killed and knocked out. Fix his knee and he can walk again in probably a little more than a week." He looked up to me with a face of shock. "A little more than a week! What the hell did you do to his legs?!" "I just dislocated his knee cap and jabbed him on a pressure point on the spinal column. Nothing major, unless I missed and hit the brain stem. That would be very not good." Nico looked appalled but when Will started to stir he immediately went uncaring and set his head down in the cabin floor as if he had not just been panicking about his wellbeing. It was an interesting transition to watch the son of the underworld do. "Go get a kid from Apollo cabin and I'll wake him up, I'm the sone of the goddess of nature and crafts so warn them I might do half of their job." Nico silently obeyed and walked out of the cabin, seeming not worried about his friend, but as I looked out the window I caught him begin to sprint towards the center of camp. As Will started to stir he finally awoke. He looked panicked for a moment and looked to me and said, "Where's my little death boy? What did you do to him..." He broke off into a coughing fit and rolled back hacking and wheezing. "He is safe, I have not wounded his body. You can check afterwards if you would like." I said with a hint if a grin in that last part. It was a cold jest but I could not help myself, I can't remember the last time I saw Nico sprint. This sone of Apollo must be worth something after all, pity about his leg. The smooth oak shined with the torches by the door and the shrine, but the inescapable shadows seemed to travel around him, I took an advantage to this and shrouded myself in shadow, a stealth tactic I developed after my journey through Tartarus. He had to squint to see me, doing so he fought my shadows with the light of the sun god, I fought back though, and better. He eventually gave up and slumped back down in defeat. He was focusing on healing and I was toying with the idea of fighting his positive energy, but then I sensed a presence. It was just outside of the cabin and it was magical, but a dark sorcery. I turned and grabbed an effigy around my neck and saw Nico shadow walking towards the cabin. He was actually scared for this kid. So I killed the effect and dispelled him just outside of the cabin in broad daylight for his boyfriend here to see. He tried to leap up but ended up falling back down on his back yelping in pain. Nico jogged up the steps to try to help suport the son of Apollo, I heard a whisper between them and a corrner of Nicos face blush. It was almost sad, they couldbe together if they wern't demigods, we don't get happy endings. Parcy almost disproved that fact, until the inccedent. He and Jason still can't be in the same camp and both have fully embraced their family mythology. One is Greek and one is Roman, to them, there is nothing else. I sensed souls on the outer edge of the forest, the med jacks. Nico was fast. I let them pass in, though they did not know while they were here, their lives were in my hands. They came with a stretcher and wheeled him out. Nico went with leaving me al by my loansome. It was peaceful. Then the Giant walked into camp and started killing people.
