What is the matter with them, there is nothing to fight. I stumbled and fell when a shadow rift opened in front of me and out ran Nico DiAngelo. He was in full body armor and had on his belt dual short swords and a stgyan on his back. Jason flew to meet him, literally. His hair was a mess, all of the static charge would do that. His eyes were yellow and malicious while his face slimmed and became more grave. He had grown, he was almost seven feet tall and his shoulders got wider. He was starting to look like his father. "Ambassador of Pluto, Hail!" Called Jason. "Hail!" Echoed his troops. "State your business here Ambassador, are you here to repent the Greek way? Are you ready to draw from true power?" They were going to declare war with the Greeks, they were going to follow Jason whose goal is to kill Percy. How did he manipulate Reyna? "Jason you know why I am here" Nico said, as he spoke he rose himself by a step of bones. The bones formed a cylinder under his feet and he rose to eye level with Jason. "I am here to warn you that what you are doing is deadly to you and your troops. They might have no problem firing the Greeks but you have no backup, no mercenary force, and no leader." The temperature began an acute plummet, I was on the verge of shivering. Frost started to form on the Romans armor. "I am a god Ambassador, I will not die!" Nico lost it, the temperature got lower, the ground began to shake. "You are not a god Jason Grace, Son of Jupiter, one of the seven to sleep Gaea, Parton of Rome at war, your name no longer has power. You are a demigod whose gone mad with his own power and has turned on every friend. You are powerless. And so is your New Rome." Jason's face twisted with fury, he had lost power to Nico, he flung Nico away with the power of the wind. I drew my bow and fired an imperial gold arrow at grace. He tried to block it with his winds, but my enchanted bow came through. The arrow sliced across his upper arm and he cried out with pain. He got me back. He struck me with the largest lighting bolt I have ever seen and the pain was total. The pain was incapacitating and I could not imagine anything past the pain, there was nothing else in the world. It kept falling on me, tearing my life away. I will not die like this, I've survived worse than a glorified static zap. I have walked through Tartarus, I have had my soul forced back to the mortal coil, twice. This is weak. The bolt faded. I could crack my eye open enough to see Sophie fighting Jason, wind to wind. Jason just flicked his hand and Sophie slip back three feet while she was chanting and putting everything she had into it. She remembered though, and she slackens the winds, Jason took the chance, and it worked. He used the winds to yank Sophie up to just in front of him. "You are weak compared to me" Jason hissed. "Boop!" Sophie said as the touched his nose. "What?" Jason looked confused, and I took my chance. I fired an arrow at him, the Lightning has died down enough for me to aim. The shit was to his shoulder, he flicked his hand to defect the arrow, and it hit him just in the fleshy part under the collar bone. He fell from his vantage point and hit the ground, breaking the arrow inside of him. He took a syringe and jammed it into his arm. He stood up straight and the arrow seemed to be pushed out of him. He tossed the syringe to the side and began to fly again, keeping straight. The winds began to pick up and Sophie couldn't handle it and got tossed to the side from the gale. Nico got up finally, and his face was twisted with fury. "Hey Grace, go to hell." He said and he threw an arrow head that scraped Jason's arm. It got his attention because then the son of the sky went flying at Nico. Nico planned it, and rose a wall of bones right in front of Jason. Jason tried to ram through it but it seemed to travel with him, bones surrounding his figure. The bones started to form people and became an army on Jason, tearing at him, biting tears of flesh off of him and digging their fingers into the wounds. Jason fell screaming, the agony clear in his voice. This was the scream of the damned. "Ummmm... Jack. The Romans are advancing." That was Sophie, her voice wavering to keep the fear and pain from her voice. She was right, they were coming in fast. They were a common Phalanx, there was nothing good to shoot at. Except I have my own version of a battering ram for the phalanx maneuver. I took a special arrow from my quiver and over drew my bow for maximum effect. I fired my arrow at the middle shield. The arrow hit its mark, and the force knocked the shield bearer back a step as the gas spread across the troops. I then fired a Greek Fire arrow into the crowd, not aiming at anything other than the mass of people. The arrow made contact with the gas and the gas burst into a blue and white flame. If they were lucky, they would keep one of their senses. The crowd was stumbling around screaming, falling over each other, and breaking formation. "Nice distraction." Said Nico as he rose an army beneath their feet. The hold in the earth opened up and the undead pulled the soldiers to the underworld, every last one of them. Nico turned around to face Jason, "Do you see this Jason? Do you see what happens when you try to fight us? You lose, and painfully. Your screams are louder than the constant cacophony that my home has to bear. You think of it as the worst chamber that has been conceived, I call it home. And I love being able to go home. I will always win, and if you try again, I will not let you off as easily as I did today." And with that he grabbed Sophie, looked at me and said "follow me." And shadow traveled away. I leapt in after him and landed in the Apollo cabin at camp. What is the matter with them, there is nothing to fight.
