Finding out the truth

Candace and toby's P.O.V.

Candace was going back and forth in her room trying to figure out if these flashbacks, or dreams she was having were real or if her mind was really just playing tricks on her.

After about an hour of going back and forth she walked outside her bedroom door and went down the hallway and opened up the storage closet and she grabbed a box that contained a bunch of family pictures

As she continued looking through them all she noticed she wasn't on any one of the pictures not one but there was a bunch of her brother and her dad and pictures of Logan with their mom at a very young age.

She couldn't take not knowing what was going on she walks into the kitchen hoping to find her dad "hey dad can I ask you something?"

He looks over at Candace and smiles "sure sweetie what is it?" "I was just wondering why I don't remember anything from my past?" "You know it's because of that accident you had remember the doctor said you might never remember everything that happened in your life?"

"Well okay but why aren't there any baby pictures of me there's a ton of Logan but not even one of me?" He looks away from his paper up to look at Candace "uh honey you know me and your mom are divorced I was in a different country with Logan most of the years and when I came back you got into that accident but now I'm here with you again!"

"So mom has pictures of me and videos of me?" she asked as she still didn't believe a word he said. He looked at her not liking that he had to lie to her "well it could be possible but your mother never really owned a camera."

"Well maybe you should invite her over I want to know how I was when I was a little kid!" "Uh I could call her and ask but she is pretty busy these days Candace why are you asking me all these questions so suddenly?"

"Because I have a right to know dad! I have no memory of my life I feel so clueless at times."
He sighed he  hated himself for doing this to her he really did love her like his own daughter but it was hard lying to her all the time "I'm sorry about that."

"It's not your fault dad" she kissed his cheek and walked outside her house still feeling suspicious about him lying to her. She bagan running her fingers through her hair not sure what to believe anymore when she thought about Jeremy and how he said she had two little brothers and he was her boyfriend back at the museum.

Candace and Jeremy's P.O.V.

She began running down the streets of Danville not really sure where she was planning on going. Jeremy opened his door about to walk out of his house when he sees Candace running down the street he gives her a weird look "CANDACE?!"

She stops running and jogs towards him "Jeremy I really need to talk to you!"  "Okay come inside" he leads her into his house and they sit on his couch "so what's up?" "Please don't think I'm crazy but I've been having these weird flashbacks about you and me together" she bites her lip looking up at him.

Jeremy is thinking to himself YES! YES! YES!FINALLY! He tries to keep his cool "oh really?"
She nods "yeah and it's creeping me out I mean I had a whole other family and you were my boyfriend I'm just so" she trails off "but I keep on wanting to have them so I can figure out what this all means?"

He's holding back a smile, "but do you believe these flashbacks like do you think there real?"
"Yeah I do and I just had to tell you because you were in them and I think you can help me?" she looks up at him.

He stares at her with his deep blue ocean eyes and he puts his hand to her cheek and he leans in kissing her softly on the lips. Her eyes widen as she just sits there letting him kiss her.

She wraps her fingers through his hair as she kisses him back with the same passion he did.
He wraps his arms around her waist as he pulls her closer to his body, he had waited for so long for her to be in his arms once again and he was completely happy.

She pulls away from the kiss as she leaned her forehead against his taking a breath from the kiss they shared. He couldn't help but have a goofy grin on his face as to what happened "so was that kiss everything you dreamed of it to be?"

She let a giggle escape through her lips "how can you be so cocky at a time like this? "Because I'm awesome like that" he smiled at her "what would you say if I asked you out for dinner tomorrow?"

She thought for a moment if this was a good idea she knew she loved Benjamin but there was just something between her and Jeremy that she couldn't ignore and she wanted to know if these dreams were really real "I would say yes"  "great I will see you tomorrow then?"he smiled as he kissed her cheek feeling completely happy after so long.

Yes I had to make this chapter more of candermy since there my favorite ship. What did you guys think of this chapter what's going to happen with Candace and Jeremy now?
