"Hey guys." Mr. Jung opened the door to a practice room to see his best students lying on the ground. Arms and legs flailed out like a group of starfish. They were panting raggedly and small beads of sweat dripped down their foreheads. "Woah, what happened to you three?"
The three boys didn't reply and just laid on the wooden floor, for some much needed rest. The teacher laughed loudly before walking over to the student's duffel bags to get their water. "Boys, don't overwork yourself all at once. How many times have I told you three to take breaks when you need them?" Mr. Jung asked as he handed out the bottles to their respective owners. After all boys had gotten a hold of their bottles, Mr. Jung went over to the stool next to the speaker and sat down.
The youngest of the three slowly sat up to drink his water while the other two stayed still. Their rapid breaths had slowed and now the boys were breathing regularly. "Sorry, Mr. Jung. We were practicing our choreo and got carried away." Felix smiled sheepishly as he apologized.
Hyunjin pulled himself up sitting criss cross, chugging his water. "Mr. Jung, you should install some security cameras in here. You can't trust us to take care of our health when we practice."
Minho snorted as he heard the younger's words. "Mr. Jung, Hyunjin's got a point."
Mr. Jung rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah whatever." Minho still hadn't gotten up, although he was now calm. "Minho, sit up, drink your water. You need to hydrate yourself."
"Right yeah." Minho pushed himself up, and drank his water. After having drunk enough water, he asked Mr. Jung a question. "Mr. Jung, did you need anything?"
"Hmm?" The teacher had forgotten the original reason he was here. "Oh yeah, I just wanted to check on how you're doing. And by the exhaustion I see on you three, you've been making progress." Mr. Jung pointed out. "Oh and there's only 15 minutes till class ends. So pack up, go shower at your locker room and eat a proper lunch. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Mr. Jung smiled, as he closed the door and left.
All three boys sighed and began packing up. Felix began speaking, "We're lucky to have Mr. Jung as our teacher, aren't we?"
The elder boys agreed immediately. "During high school, my dance teacher was a total bitch. She didn't let the students take breaks until they got every single thing right." Hyunjin shared. "But Mr. Jung is so easy-going, and a much better dancer than that old hag ever was."
"Yeah, Mr. Jung has always been that nice. I wonder how he does it sometimes." Minho smiled. The boy had known their sunshine teacher when he was younger. In fact, it was Mr. Jung who inspired Minho to be a dancer in his teenage years.
"Let's go freshen up, then we can meet up with the others at the cafeteria."Felix was the first to run out of their practice room, Hyunjin following close behind. The two were hungry and wanted to go eat lunch as soon as possible. The three males entered the boys locker room which was bustling with teenage boys here and there, boys who had just finished a sports practice or dance. The three dancers got their clean clothing out of their locker. They each hurried into a vacant shower stall to wash up. They tried to shower as fast as they could since lunch was about to begin in just 7 minutes.
Felix was the first to finish showering. He quickly dressed himself into a black tee, black jeans and a white button up over the black tee. He came out of his stall to find most boys running out the door to the cafeteria but realized that Hyunjin and Minho were still showering. He knocked loudly on both their stalls. "Hurry the fuck up, you two!" Felix continued his banging on Hyunjin's door, which opened a few moments later, causing Felix to hit Hyunjin's nose.
