A chilly breeze blew past him as soon as Jisung walked out the main doors of the school. Finally, he could go home. The entire day has just been a blur and at this point, it'd be a miracle if he managed to get himself home in one piece. All in all, he's never been happier that the school day is over.

He's about to head over to his car when he hears a voice call his name from behind him. He turns around to see Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin walking towards him.

"Are you going home hyung?" Jeongin asked.

Jisung nodded in reply, and hummed. "Yeah, sorry, I can't go to Levanter with you guys," he apologized.

Seungmin sighed "Yah, don't be sorry. Just take the time you need."

Smiling at his friends' understanding, Jisung noticed that the other four weren't anywhere to be seen. "Where are the others?"

"They said they were going to the library after lunch," Jeongin started, "I don't know if they're still there though."

Just then Felix got a text, "Speak of the devil," he chuckled. "Changbin hyung just texted me saying that something came up so they all left early but they wanted us to make sure you're feeling okay."

"Tell them that I said thanks and that I'm feeling better. Also that I'm sorry for ditching earlier," Jisung smiled at his friend's concern, "Anyways, I'll get going. I wanna be out of here before the evening rush starts up. See you guys."

Jisung ran off towards his car before the other three could answer him. While he appreciates their understanding, he was just not in the mood to be around anyone right now. Starting up his engine, he began to back out of his car and soon he was driving out of the school parkade, heading to his own house for the first time since last year.

Jisung slowly backed his car into his house's driveway and parked it. He sighed, taking a deep breath as he got out of his car. Then he grabbed his school bag and shut the car door behind him. Walking up to the front door of his house, he rummaged through his school bags, looking for the keys. He felt the cold metal brush against his fingers as he pulled it out.

Fitting the key into the keyhole, he turned it. Hearing a slight click, he turned the knob and pushed open the ebony door. He entered the house, stepping into the dark, empty foyer, setting his sights on the almost empty corridor. Slipping his shoes off, he walked further into  the house. He soon found a switch to his left and flipped it on, the house flooding with bright light. He sighed again, placing his bag down and going up the stairs, immediately walking past what was his parent's room to his own room.

Coming back to his old house always made Jisung have mixed feelings. It saddened him to see an empty home, but it also reminded him of all the good times he had with his family in this very house. The 17th of January in particular though, held his worst memory of this house, the day his parents disappeared.

Jisung remembers it so vividly, that he almost wishes he didn't. At least then, it wouldn't hurt this much. It's one of those memories where he wishes with his whole being that he had retrograde amnesia.

He remembered walking into an empty house just like he did today, confused until he realized that for some reason, all the picture frames placed throughout the house were now just those. Empty picture frames. Every little memory placed within them gone as if they had never been there in the first place. He remembered dropping his bag on the ground, and running to his parents room to find out what happened just to see it as empty as the living room had been.
