Wakko's Birthday Part 2: The Carnival

~Wakko's POV~

(An hour later...)

I looked out of the window to see the giant Ferris wheel in front of me as we pulled up into the highway. "Oh wow!" I wagged my tail.

"Well, we're here." Aqua smiled. "Ready to have fun love?" she asked me.

"Readier than ever!" I said cheerfully and got out of the car, then I helped my girlfriend down from the truck. "Here you are."

"Thank you." she smiled and secured the truck. "Let's go."

"Alright!" I smiled and held hands with her as we made our way to the carnival entrance. After we were admitted to go inside, I looked around to see everything. "Oh wow! This is amazing!"

"It sure is. So what would you like to do?"

"Hmm..." I looked around and saw a carousel there near the game booths. "Let's go there."

"Good choice." she said as she rubbed her tiny belly.

I smiled and held her hand as we made our way to the carousel. After we made it to the end of the line, I heard a crowd of people clapping. I looked to see that there was a circus tent there. "Oh wow. The circus is in town too. Neat."

"We can go there for last. We have all day."

"Okay." I smiled as we were now in the front of the line.

"Step on up." the ride operator said.

"Ladies first." I took a bow for Aqua.

She giggled. "You're too sweet birthday boy." she said as she stepped up in the ride and then walked over to a blue seahorse.

"I'll help." I said as I helped her up and over the ride.

She buckled herself in. "Thanks honey."

"No problem." I wagged my tail and climbed up on a black horse and buckled myself in. "Ready to go?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." she wagged her tail.

As we felt the ride starting, I held out my hand to her. "Let's ride until the sun sets my mermaid princess."

"Oh god." Aqua giggled as she held my hand back.

I chuckled and took out my phone so we can take a selfie together. After the ride was over, we went to the game booths. I looked around to see everyone having a great time competing. I heard some water splashing and turned my head to see a water gun shooting gallery. "Oh wow. Baby look."

She turned her head and smiled. "Cool. You wanna try that?" Aqua asked.

"Sure." I wagged my tail and made my way to the game booth and paid for our turns to play.

"Alright folks! Welcome to the game! If you see the clowns here, you need to fill their mouths up with water. Whoever fills up the balloon wins!" the booth master said.

"Ready to get your ass kicked babe?" Aqua smirked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I smirked and got the water gun ready.

"Ready, aim, fire!" the booth master started the game.

"Take this clown boy!" I said as I squirted the water into the clowns mouth. I heard Aqua giggling as she was having fun herself. As I saw my balloon blowing up bigger and bigger... it popped!

"We have a winner!" the booth master said. "Give a hand to the puppy dog boy!"

The people clapped for me which made me get on the chair and I took a bow. "Thank you. Thank you. You're all too kind." I said.

"Great manners my boii." Aqua clapped for me.

"Thank you my lady."

"Here's your prize sonny." the booth master said as he gave me a giant teddy bear.

Aqua giggled and clapped. "Congratulations baby, you beat that clown's potty mouth!"

"Hehe, I did." I smiled as I was proud of myself for winning the game. "I'm gonna save this bear for when my future child is born. He or she will be very happy that daddy won this bear for them."

"You're very thoughtful hon. I think the kids will appreciate such a sweet, kind, and funny person as yourself." she said as she kissed my cheek.

"You're everything to me. So, ready to play some more games?" I asked her with a smile.

"Yeah." she nodded.

As the day rolls on by, we were having a great time at the carnival. We played lots of games, won many prizes, took awesome pictures, and even ate really yummy food. This had to be one of my favorite birthdays ever. But as it was almost close to dark, I looked at the circus tent from earlier and tapped my love's shoulder. "Hey babe?"

"What is it?" she looked up at me.

"Can we go to the circus before we go home?"

"But love, aren't you scared of clowns?"

"I am. A little. But I know that you'll protect me from them."

"Well... if you're certain you can make it through this, then I'm with you." she holds my hand. "Let's go see the circus."

"Alright!" I said as we made it on the line to the big top. After a few minutes, we were inside of the tent grabbing our seats which was at the front of the circus rink.

"My goodness this is exciting. I've never been to the circus." Aqua said.

"You're going to love it." I smiled as I heard the crowd hushing each other and the lights started to dim. "Ooh, it's starting." I whispered to her.

"Oh goodie. I can't wait." Aqua wagged her tail and leaned her head on my shoulder.

As the show was starting, a spotlight shone towards a tall man who was dressed in black and red. I was thinking that he was the ringmaster, but something told me that the ringmaster was different. 'I wonder what it is. But I can't shake this feeling off.' I thought to myself as I ate my popcorn.

"Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, welcome to the best circus show on earth!" the ringmaster said as it was starting.

(Later on...)

I yawned as I was coming out of the car and helped Aqua out of the car. As we walked into the house, it was dark. "Huh? Where is everybody?"

"I don't know babe. Yakko? Dot? Rachel? Rakko?" Aqua called out their names.

"Need to turn on the light." I said as I turned on the light.

"Surprise!" everyone shouted as they surprised me with an ice cream cake.

"Oh wow!" I laughed. "Today was a great day." I smiled and hugged everyone that wished me the best birthday ever.

"We're glad you enjoyed it." Rachel said with a smile.

As we ate the cake together, I told them about our day at the carnival and about how much fun we've had. Then I got some presents which I really loved. When it was time for bed, I gave everyone hugs in return of the best day ever. As I was in bed with my world, she was fast asleep. I could tell that she was one tuckered out girl. Well, not just that but because she was holding another world that's waiting for me.

"Goodnight honey. I love you." I whispered in her ear.

"Love you too, drummer boy." she whispered back.

I closed my eyes and hugged her as we both fell asleep holding each other. I was really grateful that I was sharing the world with the one I love. And her name was Aqua.
