~Aqua's POV~

(2 days later...)

*February 17th*

Everything in my life was going perfectly according to plan. In less than a month or 2, Wakko and I will be parents. I could tell that Wakko was even more excited about our little one being born soon. I've always been dreaming of raising an Animaniac child in my dreams. But most importantly, Spring Break is almost upon us and we were getting everything ready for our grand adventure to finding Warnerstock.

One day, I was in my office and my patient for today was Pinky the mouse. After I gave him a check up, I decided to help him with his cognitive abilities using real objects and giant spelling cards. "Alright Pinky, we're going to spell out a few words. Is that alright with you?"

"Sounds like fun, Narf!" Pinky sat down on my desk.

"Alright. Here's our first word." I said as I placed the word BALL on the wall and held out a real ball, placing it in front of him. "Now then, what is this?" I asked him as I held up the ball.

"Oh, it's a ball! Poit!" he clapped his paws.

I giggled and held out my pointing stick. "That's right. Now I want you to spell out the word here on the board. Repeat after me. B, A, L, L." I said as I pointed out the letters for him.

"B, A, L, L. Oh what fun!"

"Very good Pinky. Let's try a different word now." I said as I brought out another word card that said HORSE on it. Then I brought out a toy horse, placing it next to Pinky.

"Oh, hello beautiful~" Pinky said as he went to the toy horse. "Come here often?"

"Pinky, what are you doing?" I giggled. "Are you flirting with the toy horse?"

"This horse is beautiful. It reminds me of my girlfriend."

"Your girlfriend is a horse?"

"Yes." he said as he took something out. "See?" he said as he showed me a picture of a white horse with blue eyes.

I adjusted my reading glasses so I could see it better. "Oh wow. She's beautiful. Well I'm glad to know that you're sharing your life with someone special to you." I smiled.

"Thank you. Her name is Phar Fignewton."

"That's an... interesting name. She looks just like you."

"Thank you, Narf!"

"Anyway. Can you spell out the word HORSE for me please?"

"No problem. H, O, R, Z, E!"

I shook my head. "That's not quite right. You've mistaken the S for a Z. It's with an S. Now try it again"

"Okay." he nodded. "H, O, R, Z. No wait, S and E. Horse!"

"Well done." I clapped my paws. "It's a lucky thing that you've caught yourself there."

"Thanks."

"I think you may have a little case of Dyslexia. But we can work on this type of thing again the next time you see me." I said as I was writing this down on my medical report. "We can do one more thing and then wrap things up for today."

"Okay!"

I brought out another word and it said the word CHEESE. "Alright. This is a little tricky here. And I know you'll like this." I said as I got out a plate of cheese. I placed the plate in front of him and held out the cheese wedge in my hand. "What word is this?" I pointed out the word for him.

"Cheese! Narf!" Pinky laughed and wagged his tail.

"Very good. Can you spell it for me please?"

"Okay!"

"If you get it right, I'll give it to you as a reward and a snack."

"Oh goodie! C, H, E, E, S, E! Cheese!"

"Hooray! You did it!" I clapped my hands. "You've done a great job with your spelling today Pinky, you deserve your snack. Here you go." I said as I gave him the cheese.

"Oh boy cheese!" Pinky laughed and started digging in.

I smiled and patted the top of his little head. "You're such a good boy. But I don't understand why you have to be with the Brain. He's so... mean to you."

"You really think so?" Pinky looked at me.

"Yeah. The way he treats you. Even as a cartoon. How can you deal with him like that?" I asked him.

"Well, it's because I'm insane. But, he's my friend. Poit!"

"If he's your friend, then he should start treating you like a friend."

"What do friends do?"

"Well, friends are there for you. Like when you're down, they pick you right up. When you're mad, they talk with you about why you're feeling that way. And when... you're lost, they guide you to find your way."

"Oh wow. I never knew that friends would be so important."

"Friends are very important Pinky. You can build bonds with them. Just like I've formed a bind with Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. As kids and as grownups."

"Oh yeah. Those black and white kids. I heard that you're with the kid with the red cap."

"Yeah. He's my boyfriend." I smiled a bit.

"I'm glad we've had this talk. I should get going now."

"You're going home now?"

"Yeah. Brain wants me to do more work with him. Narf!"

"Let me guess, to try and take over the world with him?"

"Egad you're so good at it! This is why I like you doctor!"

"And I like you too Pinky." I smiled at him, then my phone started ringing. "Hmm? It's Mister Plotz. I wonder why he's calling me."

"You should answer it."

"Okay Pinky. Class dismissed." I turned around and picked up the phone. "Hello, Doctor Aquamarine Lapis Lazuli Waters speaking."

"AQUA! YOU BETTER GET TO MY OFFICE RIGHT NOW!" Mister Plotz yelled out on the phone.

"Ah!" I pulled the phone away from my ear because he was so loud. 'My god, what got his boxers twisted up?' I thought to myself. "Okay Mister Plotz. I'm just wrapping up. I'll be there in 10 minutes."

"YOU BETTER BE HERE IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES!" he yelled again as he hung up.

"Sheesh." I shook my head and turned off my phone. "He doesn't sound too happy." I looked at the cheese plate that was empty and Pinky was gone. "Okay, now to go see what he wants." I said to myself as I started scurrying over to his office.

As I was making my way out of my office and onto the movie lot, I was being greeted by the other toons like Slappy the Squirrel and Buttons the dog. But in my mind, I was hoping that everything was okay with Mister Plotz. I hoped and prayed that nothing was going to happen to me.
