Book 2: The Search For Warnerstock

Avalanche!

~Aqua's POV~

"Oh my god keep running!" I said to everyone as we started running for our lives. Pervious chapter short... Rachel revealed her secret and I caused a deadly accident which will bury us alive from the snow!

"Hurry baby!" Wakko kept running.

"There's no time to waste!" Rachel unfurled her wings and then started flying. She grabbed Dot, Carrie, and Yakko first.

"Whoa!" Dot held onto her hands. "Carrie! Yakko! Don't let go!" Dot looked down as Carrie and Yakko were holding onto each other's feet.

"Ah! I'm scared of heights!" Carrie said as she squinted her eyes shut.

"Ahh baby!" Yakko called out her name.

"Hold on! Hold on!" Rachel said as she flew away with the first 3 teammates. 

As I kept running with Wakko, Rita was holding on tight to Rakko in my chest fur. And Pinky was holding onto my hair band pretty tight.

"Ahh! Run faster!" Pinky said as he was screaming to the top of his lungs into my ear.

I started panting and stopped for a bit since my pregnancy was slowing me down. "I... I can't do it..." I panted.

"Come on baby! We're almost there! The avalanche is getting closer!" Wakko dragged me back into running. "Don't give up!"

"I can't do it..." I said as I ran for a bit, but stopped again.

"Look!" Rita pointed up.

"Guys!" Rachel flew fast and grabbed us just in time before the snow did.

"Yes! You did it Rachel! You saved us!" Wakko wagged his tail as he held onto her hand.

"Thank the lord." I panted.

"Whee! I'm flying!" Pinky laughed.

"Mama!" Rakko wagged his tail.

Rachel giggled. "Way to go my son. Mama, is so proud of you." she said to Rakko. Pretty soon, she brought us to a big pine tree that was high enough to keep us out of the raging snow.

"My baby!" Yakko took Rakko out of my chest fur and hugged him. "Thank you sis."

"You're welcome." I said while I was still out of breath.

"Ouch..." Rachel moaned in pain.

"What's wrong wifey? Are you okay?" Yakko hugged Rachel.

"I think I've strained my wings too much while bringing you guys to safety." Rachel panted.

"That's okay. We're safe thanks to you." Dot hugged her.

"You're a life saver." Carrie said as she pats her head.

Rita came out of my chest fur and cuddled up to her. "You did good sister."

"Hehe, thanks guys..." Rachel hugged Rita.

"Hey Doctor, look at me!" Pinky said as he was balancing on a tree branch far from us.

I looked at him. "Pinky, be careful."

"I will. Hey look!" he pointed down.

I looked down and gasped to see that a big tree log was heading for our tree. "Guys! Hold on! Tree log collision!"

We all held on as the tree log collided with our tree. And it made the whole tree shake.

"Whoa!" Pinky fell off the tree branch and into the raging snow waves.

"Oh no! PINKY!!" I gasped in horror as he was being swept away by the snow.

"DOCTOR!!!" Pinky waved.

"Oh no!" Dot gasped.

"Lab mouse overboard! Lab mouse overboard!" Yakko said.

"I'm coming!" I said as I dove down into the snow waves as well.

"BABE NO!" Wakko yelled.

As I came up, I trudged my way to Pinky. "Pinky!"

"Doctor! I'm so cold!" he shivered.

"I know! Hold on!" I said as I was still trudging to him. "Give me your hand!"

"Okay!" he reached out and I got a hold of him. "Gotcha!" I said as I brought him into my chest fur.

"Sis!" a very familiar voice called to me.

I looked back to see that Rachel was trudging towards me. "Sis!"

"I gotcha!" Rachel hugged me.

"Rachel! You saved me!" I smiled and hugged her back.

"Doctor look!" Pinky pointed the opposite way.

I looked and screamed. "AHH!" I was in horror that the snow was heading for a cliff! "Sis fly!"

"I can't fly! My wings are strained!"

"What?! You idiot! How can you save us now?!" I growled.

"Uhh! I don't know! Brace yourselves!" she hugged me tighter.

"I don't wanna die! I don't wanna die!" Pinky said as we were starting to go over the cliff.

We all screamed, but I remember that I had something. In a flash, I took out my grappling hook from the past and aimed it for a tree. Then we were dangling from the rope, on the side of the cliff. "Phew, thank god I kept this grappling hook."

"Are we dead?" Pinky uncovered his eyes.

"Nope, we're still alive." I smiled.

"Oh wow! You saved us! You're the man! Well, woman!" Pinky came out of my chest fur and kissed my cheek, then went back in there.

"Sis, you saved me." Rachel smiled.

"Of course I did. Just like you saved me."

"Thank you."

"You're wel- look out!" I gasped to see that a rock was about to hit her, so I swerved around to protect her and the rock impacted on my paw. "Ah!" I yelled out and started to let go.

"No!" Rachel grabbed my injured hand. "I gotcha! I gotcha!" she panted.

"Ouch s-sis..." I looked up at her and then started to see that the cord was starting to fray away. "Uh oh. Sis..?" I gulped. "T-The grappling cord."

She looked up and gasped. "Oh no. S-Sis. I can't fly still." she said as she saw her strained wings.

"Sis." I looked at her. "But the cord can't hold both of our weight."

"Yes it will. Yes it will." Rachel teared up.

I looked up to see that the rope was still fraying away up to its 5th strand. I looked down and gulped to see how big of a drop it really was down below us. Then I looked back up to see how scared my big sister was, so I've decided to make the ultimate decision. I started to lose my grip of my hurt hand.

"Oh no sis!" Rachel held onto it tighter.

"Sis, I think it's my time." I teared up and flashed a smile at her.

"No it's not!"

"Sis, take care of everyone. Please forgive me." I smiled until my hand was full released and I saw myself falling.

"NO! SIS!! AQUA!!! AQUAMARINE!!!!" Rachel yelled out in tears as I was falling to my death.

"Goodbye my sister, I'll always love you! Find Warnerstock and take care!" I called to her as I closed my eyes and hoped that my death was worth it to save my big sister.
