Book 2: The Search For Warnerstock

~Aqua's POV~

(2 days later...)

March 8th

I turned my head, groaning. "Ohh..."

"Doctor! Doctor!"

"Mmm..?" I opened my eyes slowly and saw a flash of white. "It's so bright..." I rubbed my eyes to see that I was face to face with a horse! "Oh!" I skidded back.

"Doctor it's okay!" Pinky said as he got down from the horse's mane. "This is my girlfriend Phar Fignewton!"

I looked up at the big white horse and I remembered the picture from that fateful day. "Oh! This is your girlfriend from the picture!"

"Yes, she's friendly. She wanted to check on you. Narf!"

"O-Okay." I held my hand out to the horse and then she came to me, leaning her snout against my hand. "Oh wow." I said as I got up slowly.

I heard Phar Fignewton's snout noises and felt her breath on my hand. Then she lowered her head to where my exposed bellybutton was at. I started to pet her slowly as she was smelling my scent. Then a little while later, she gently nuzzles my belly which caused me to smile.

"I think she likes your ball! Poit!" Pinky clapped his paws.

"I think so too Pinky. Good girl." I spoke to her softly and petted her head. "Hey Pinky, where are we?"

"We're in a barn!"

"But Pinky, what happened to us? I thought we died!"

"I thought so too. But..."

"But what?"

"Somebody saved us."

"Who?"

"That scary monster guy. Poit!"

"Grimm? He saved us? But how?"

"I'm not sure. But I saw him there while he was carrying you to here. Narf!"

"Interesting." I nodded and realized what I've done. "Oh god, the others must be worried sick! Maybe Wakko's ready to eat himself off!"

"No worries, we can ask my girlfriend here." Pinky said as he turned to his horsey. "Phar Fignewton, can you help us find our way to our group?"

"Neigh!" she whinnied.

"She said she'll help us!"

"Terrific! Maybe she can come with us to find Warnerstock too! But we need to get there fast."

Phar Fignewton made a soft whinny and she pulled back a tarp which revealed a carriage. "Neigh."

"Oh wow, you can give us a ride on this carriage?"

"Neigh." she nodded.

"Poit! This'll be fun!"

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's hook up the carriage and get going." I said as I slowly started to get the carriage ready for our move to find the ones we've lost.

(A while later...)

"That should do it!" Pinky said as he hooked up the last of the straps to Phar Fignewton's saddle.

"Wow. I've never been in a horse drawn carriage before." I smiled. "So question... which way did Grimm brought us from?"

"Oh my. I was so busy with reuniting with my girlfriend, I forgot! Narf..."

"It's okay Pinky." I said as I gave him a pat on his head. "We'll find them. Maybe my sense of smell could find them." I said as I smelled my injured hand to smell Rachel's scent on it. "Huh, she's close by."

"I think she's looking for us!"

"You're right." I smiled. "Then let's get goi- oh! Ing..." I said as I held my stomach.

"What's wrong?"

"The baby, it kicked." I giggled and rubbed my tummy. "Thank god, my baby's still alive." I sighed in relief.

"Ooh! I wanna feel it!" Pinky said. I smiled and brought Pinky to my bloated belly and pressed his ear against it. Then I felt another kick and he was laughing. "Oh wow! The baby is playing soccer!"

I laughed and put him on top of his horse girlfriend's head. "Alright. Let's go find them." I said as I climbed into the carriage.

"Let's go Phar!" Pinky said to her.

"Neigh." she whinnied and started trotting her way from where we supposedly came from.

As we were leaving the barn, I looked out the window to see the mountains and trees covered in snow. I looked back at my hand that was injured while hanging onto the grappling hook during the avalanche. I thought about my sister and about how bad I've treated her before sacrificing myself. I sighed and hoped that she'll forgive me for everything I've made her feel bad about.

"Baby!" a voice called out.

"Huh?" my ears picked up a noise and I looked out of the carriage window.

"Pinky! Aqua!" I heard other voices calling out.

I gasped and smelled the scent getting closer. "Pinky! I hear them!"

"I do too! Keep going girl!" he patted the horse's head.

"Neigh!" she said as she went into a canter.

"We should call them out, Narf!" Pinky said as he held onto Phar's mane.

"You're right." I nodded. "Wakko?!"

"Look! Straight ahead!" Pinky pointed.

I looked straight ahead to see the truck! I gasped and wagged my tail a lot. It was our group. "Guys!"

"Whoa!" Pinky stopped Phar from the canter and made her stop.

I got out of the carriage and waved to them. "Guys! Guys!"

"She's alive! Sis!" Rachel flew up to me and landed in front of me.

"Big sister!" I came up to her and gave her a hug.

"Little sister! Thank god you're okay!" Rachel hugged me right and gave me what felt like a million kisses.

I laughed and started to cry feeling my big sister hugging me and giving me comfort. "I'm so sorry sis! I'm so so sorry!"

"No sis, I'm sorry about it." Rachel started crying too. "You don't know how worried I was."

"No sis. I'm okay, I was worried about you too."

Pretty soon, the others in the truck arrived and got out of there to run over to me.

"She's okay!" Dot said.

"Guys!" I ran over to them and started giving them all hugs and kisses.

"You're alright!" Yakko hugged me and Rakko giggled as he hugged my face.

"My sister in law!" Dot hugged me.

"Thank god!" Carrie hugged me as well.

"Master!" Rita jumped into my arms.

"Rita!" I hugged her and she nuzzled me.

"My baby!" Wakko ran to me as he brought me into a tight hug, crying his eyes out. "Don't you dare ever do that to me again!" he whimpered as he cried more.

I sniffled and started to cry myself. "I know. I'm really sorry honey. I didn't mean to worry you so much."

"My unborn baby! Is she-"

"She's still alive honey, she's kicking up a storm."

He sighed in relief and gave my belly multiple kisses all over. "Thank goodness you're both alive. And Pinky too."

"Narf! Let's go back to the barn. It's cold out here." Pinky said.

"I agree Pinky. Let's go." I smiled and Wakko helped me in the horse carriage.

After our reunion was brought to an end, we went back to the barn to rest up for whatever this adventure to Warnerstock may bring us.
