A Proposal!

~Rachel's POV~

(A little while later...)

As I left my sister with the others in the car, I took Yakko hiking up on the mountain rocks. As we hiked further up on the slope, we got to take a good look at the view. I smiled as I looked at Yakko who was taking in the mountain air.

"It feels really good to breathe in all this forest air Rach."

"I'm glad you think so." I smiled at him. As I was looking at him, I could feel my face getting warm because I was gonna do something that could cause the biggest change of my life. 'I hope he says yes...' I thought to myself as I held both of Yakko's hands.

"Hmm?" Yakko looked at me. "Rachel, is everything okay?"

"Y-Yeah." I took in a deep breath and looked at him. "I don't know how to say this but... since the first day we met, you've filled up my heart that I didn't know that I needed."

"Aww baby, I'm glad that I could fill up your heart. It makes me happy that you're feeling happy." Yakko smiled at me.

"And we just had a baby together. You've brought me love, laughter, and now a family. And I want to make our family bigger." I said as I took out a brochure and gave it to him.

"What's this?" he looked at it.

"It's a brochure for an adoption program. I saw a picture of a cute little girl who needs our love." I said as I took out a picture of a little girl that had white fur and white and blue hair.

He took a look at the picture and smiled. "She looks cute. And she strangely reminds me of another girl." he chuckled.

"I would like to adopt her and... I was wondering if you would like to have her, as our daughter..?" I looked at him.

He sniffled and hugged me. "I would love to. I want her to be a part of our family. And she'll be very lucky to have us as her mom and dad. Even luckier to be a big sister."

"I'm glad you think so." I wagged my tail.

"So where is the adoption place at?"

"About that. Do you remember the orphanage that you came from?"

"Y-Yeah."

"They just recently opened it in Acme Falls."

"So she's there?"

"Yeah. Maybe we can get her before we reach the Warnerstock kingdom?"

"Yes. Of course. We should retrieve her once we get to Transylvania."

"Really?"

"Yes. I want to love her just as much as I love you and Rakko together."

I sniffled and hugged you. "Thank you. Thank you so much Yakko. You've been a wonderful person. And..." I stepped back and got down on one knee.

"H-Huh? What's going on here?"

"This is something that I've always wanted to do. My dear love, I know we've been together for a short time, but it feel like an eternity that I've been with you. Back from the first time I came out of that mail box, you were the first one that ever approached me and called me a winged angel. Up until right now, the both of us here. So I would like to ask you something." I said to him.

"What is it?" Yakko asked me.

"Yakko Warner, will you marry me?" I asked him as I took out a small green box and opened the box to reveal a silver ring with a red gem on it.

~Yakko's POV~

I gasped and felt myself blush super red as I also feel my ear and tail sticking straight up. 'Oh my god! She's really proposing to me?!' I thought to myself and gulped. "Uhh..."

"B-Baby..?" Rachel's ears started going down.

I looked at the disappointment at her face and gasped thinking that I did something wrong. 'She asked me a question and I didn't even say yes or no! Quick, say it! Say it Yakko!' my thoughts shrieked in my head.

"I guess you don't wanna marry me..." she teared up.

I got on the ground and hugged her closely. "Yes, yes. I want to marry you."

"R-Really?"

"Yes! I want to marry you and love you."

"Oh wow. For a second there, I thought you were going to say now after you hesitated."

"I was just really surprised that you would actually propose to me. But wasn't it supposed to be the man to propose to the girl?" I asked her.

"Yeah. But back on my home planet the girl has to propose to the boy they love."

"Ohh..." I nodded. "So, yes Rachel. I would love to marry you."

"Really?!"

I chuckled. "Yeah."

"Thank you, thank you so much!" she smiled and took the ring out of the box. Then she slides the ring onto my ring man finger.

"Wow. It looks beautiful." I smiled as I looked at the ring shining on my finger.

"I'm so happy!"

"Me too love. I'm so happy that I'm going to get married with you. And our kids together." I hugged her and brought her into a kiss.

"Mmm~!" Rachel giggles and kisses me back.

I rubbed her back and keep kissing her until I pulled back. "I love you so much."

"And I love you so much too." Rachel leans in and kissed my nose. "I can't wait to expand our family soon."

"Me neither. And maybe the wedding as well." I winked at her. "We can eat honey on the moon."

She laughed. "If only we could do that."

I laughed with her. "Yeah."

"Let's go back to the others and tell them the good news."

"Okay." I smiled and got up first, then helped Rachel up from the ground. "There you go."

"Thank you." she smiled and kissed my cheek. "I'm so happy."

"I'm so happy too." I kissed her cheek and walked back down the mountain to her. I was really really happy that Rachel proposed her love to me. And I was willing to keep her safe and happy forever. And I was also excited to have a new member of our family joining us very soon.
