The Way There

I sigh as I look at the mirror. I had just finished getting ready for the concert and it was currently 5:53, I was just waiting for Rapunzel to show up. I was wearing some black skinny jeans, a white button shirt with some black flats and a leather watch. I went to the living room in my apartment and plopped myself onto the couch. What if Jack doesn't remember me? What if he does? How should I act in front of the guy who treated our friendship like trash? My mind was flooding with possibilities and questions.

The bell rang, interrupting me from my thought. Similar to the way Punzie's phone call did. I got up grabbing my sunglasses and brown leather purse that stored my wallet, my phone and some other little things. I opened the door only to see my cousin waiting for me.

"Elsa!" Punzie said hugging me.

"Come on! The meet and greet is about to start" Punzie continued without letting me speak.

We both walked out of my apartment and to her black range rover without another word just some excited squeals that left Punzie's mouth.

During the car ride, I became more and more nervous. I mean meeting your ex best friend for the first time after 5 years. I didn't even know how I should behave in front of him.

Before I knew it, Punzie was already parking the car. Wow I guess time goes fast when your nervous. I didn't even know my hands were shaking and sweaty.

Punzie must have noticed my nervousness because she told me this.

"It's okay don't be nervous they are just normal boys with amazing singing voices which a lot of people appreciate okay?" She reassured me. She must have thought I was nervous about meeting an famous boy band.

Oh boy was she wrong. Punzie didn't know about my past with Jack, she only knew that I had a best friend who moved away and stopped talking to me. She didn't know that my best friend was The Jack Frost and I don't plan on telling her either. It's just this one time I have to make possible eye contact with him and then it's over, we both continue to live our own lives like before.

I just gave her a slight nod.

We both got out of the car, and I put my sunglasses on my head making them push back my hair a bit.

"Punzie can you please take a picture? I need to post an outfit of the day." I told her handing her my phone. She gave slight nod and took the picture.

I guess I forgot to mention what I do for a living. Since I can't really work and have a normal job like normal people I decided to be a youtuber. That idea was one of my best ideas ever and that's saying something. Currently I have 29,998,937 subscribers and make a lot of money.

I posted the picture on Instagram and wrote 'going to an our moment concert with Punzie!'.

Punzie took my hand and dragged me towards the meet and greet, the line was VERY long and we were the last ones. This was going to be a long wait.
