Today was to be just another day, but of course it's not. Today should have marked the 16th anniversary of a friendship of mine that was supposed to be still holding strong. But no today is the 4th year of when a friendship of 12 years was thrown down the trash.
My thoughts were interrupted as my phone rang. I tapped the green button, not bothering to look at the caller Id.
"Hello?" I said as I answered the phone.
"Hi Elsi!" The voice of my cousin Rapunzel was blasted into my ears.
"Hey Rapunzel? What's up."
"Elsa! I have the greatest news for you!" She screamed into the phone.
"What is it? Did you finally get a haircut?" I teased.
"Oh Elsa, no. I won 2 tickets and VIP backstage passes for a concert want to come?"
"Sure why not? Who is it" I asked
"Oh just 'our momment'" she said normally, I knew she was freaking out on the inside. I mean any girl would since our moment is one of the most popular boy bands on this planet. Well any girl but me, Jack Frost is in that band. Aka the guy who completely forgot about his best friend after entering the world of fame.
"Uhh umm Punzie I don't think I can go I'm busy." I answered.
"Oh Elsa stop with the excuses I haven't even told you when it is, pleeaase come with me. You going to the concert should have been a present not and favor." She said.
"Fine when is it?"
"Today be ready by 6 I'm picking you by then" and with that she hung up.
What have I gotten myself into? Eh. It won't be that bad right? I mean it's not like she won front row tickets or anything. Plus Jack wouldn't really care that I'm at the concert, I mean he threw away our 12 years of friendship so it's not like I mean anything to him. I took a look at the time at my clock, 5:12. Well I better start getting ready.
