*Vinyl Scratch's P.O.V* (Right After The Sugar Cube Corner Incident) We all rushed to the hospital after the paramedics took Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, and as soon as we got there we were greeted by Nurse Redheart, the nurse who let me visit Octavia in the morgue.
We quickly ran up to her at the desk and we all started talking over each other, none of our words making any sense, till twilight used her magic to zip all our lips shut.
"Hi nurse Redheart, we are in a sort of panic, you see-" but nurse Redheart cut her off.
"I know, you're here for Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, they are both in the O.R. at the moment, the doctors and surgeons are working their hardest, so please, have a seat to wait while i go back and check on them." she said as she stood up and walked through the double doors to the long hallway of rooms and was soon out of sight.
We all sat down in the waiting room and we were all on high tension, and high alert, so we tried to calm ourselves down, but we couldn't, it was impossible to calm down after what we had witnessed.
Seconds turned to minutes, which turned to hours before nurse Redheart came back and called for twilight, so twilight left us to go and do something, but we all remained in the room.
Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, time seemed to be moving slowly, if not frozen in place, no one had said anything to each other anymore, dead, silence.
Once the clock struck 12:00 midnight, we had decided that it would be best if we all head home, but i wanted to wait for twilight...so one by one everyone left till i remained in the waiting room.
I Stayed awake for a long while ,not bothering to check the clock to check what time it was, i knew that singsia would be home with rarity since i asked her to watch singsia for the night.
I decided to look at the clock and it read 1:45 A.M. and still no twilight, then i heard a low sort of noise emitting from the hallway, so i went to the door and walked through and followed the noise all the way to the operating room.
The noise was loud, but not very loud, and i looked in to see twilight standing near fluttershy's body, and her horn was bright and glowing, then all i could see was a white flash from inside.
Whatever happened i wasn't entirely sure, but it knocked me back against the wall and twilight ran out to help me up.
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, i'm sorry vinyl, i didn't think the spell was that powerful" she panicked while looking me over for any injuries.
"Relax twilight, i'm fine, just a little beat up, i'm fine...but what in the hay were you doing in there?" i asked.
"Oh... that... well, see... i was performing a dark magic spell to see if i could save fluttershy, because when nurse Redheart called me back, it was to tell me that the doctors couldn't do anything more to help her, so i came back here to try the spell."
"But you've been back here nearly all night!" i say as i brush my clothes off.
"I know, i know, there were complications i ran into, first the doctors wouldn't let me in till they were done patching up Rainbow, then once i did get in the room the spell wouldn't charge right, it kept cancelling itself out."
I placed my hand on her shoulder "well, whatever you did, it seemed to have some sort of effect" i say with a wry grin.
"Why's that?" she asks me seeming completely puzzled.
"Look" i pointed to the window to the operating room as we saw fluttershy's body shuffle, and move slightly.
We cautiously walked in and stood a few feet away from shy, but keeping a close eye on her, then she slowly sat up and brought her hand to her head "owwwwiiieeee."
Me and twilight stood there in awe as shy looked over at us "hi vinyl, twilight, what are you guys staring at?"
"Fluttershy, you're alive!" twilight said as she ran over and hugged her tightly, as did I.
"I'm alive?" she said as she ran her hand over her body "i am, but how?"
"You get to thank twilight for that, she's the one who brought you back" i said as i pat twilight on the back.
"Where's dashie?" shy asked with a worried yet excited look on her face.
Twilight spoke up since i didn't know what happened yet "she is going to be fine, she is recovering in a room, but there were some problems when she was shot.
"What is it, hurry up and tell us" i blurted out in anticipation.
"Relax vinyl, i am getting to that part", she said.
"Rainbow dash suffered quite a few bullet wounds, and she lost a lot of blood..." twilight paused a moment "and she may be in a coma."
As soon as twilight said that mine and flutershy's jaws dropped.
"A coma?!, Oh my" and with that shy fainted and i grabbed twilight's shoulders.
"At least tell me she is gonna be ok!" i screamed.
"Vinyl, relax!" she said as she shoved me off "Rainbow will probably be fine, We just need to wait and see if she wakes up!"
Me and twilight were basically arguing while shy lay fainted on the bed.
Eventually we stopped fighting and we got nurse Redheart to come and bring shy to rainbow dash's recovery room.
"I can't believe that Rainbow is gonna be in a coma" i said to twilight while nurse Redheart tucked fluttershy in to the hospital bed.
"I know she was a close friend Vinyl, but no one could've really stopped the killer, it had a gun." she said as she wrapped her arm over my shoulder.
"Since you managed to save fluttershy, could that spell be used to bring Octavia back to life?" i ask with hope in my eyes.
"Not this spell, it only works on very recently deceased, but i believe that somewhere in my books is a raise the dead spell, but it has only the slightest chance of working" she said.
"alright, but let's say it works, would it bring Octavia back to life, like normal alive?" i ask.
"If that 5% chance of success is attained, it will restore her to full health, but it is a dark magic spell that drains the caster of their magic for nearly 3 days" she explained with a hint of worry in her voice.
"I would risk anything for Octavia, even my magic" i said with a look of determination.

Finally, some clarity huh?, needed to explain some stuff.
this is barely some time the incident, so expect to see more days of the way vinyl managed to get Octavia alive!
