Chapter 3

*Fluttershy's P.O.V*

tears shed from my eyes as i racked the round in and pressed the barrel against my head.

"just do it shy, do this and you'll be with dashie again" i told my self through all the tears i was crying out.

i pressed my finger slowly against the trigger "3......2......"

i felt the trigger resistance against my finger as i slowly pressed harder and the resistance gave way.

" One......"

The resistance of the trigger suddenly came back and i tried to squeeze it tighter....but it would not move anymore.

i slowly turned to see twilight, spike and rarity standing behind me and twilight's horn was glowing bright as i pulled the gun away and saw her magic aura surrounding the trigger.

"i can't let you kill yourself flutters, not after everything that has happened so far" twilight said solemnly.

i thew the gun aside and covered my face and bawled into my hands as they came over and squeezed me in hugs.

"i'm so sorry, i thought that if i ended this pain and suffering, me and dash could be together in peace" i cried.

i just cried in my hand as twilight grabbed my chin and turned my face towards her "is that what you think rainbow dash would have wanted?" she asked me sternly.

i wasn't sure...would rainbow dash even want to see me again if i killed myself just to end my suffering.

i slowly shake my head and twilight stares me in the eyes "look shy, we all loved dash as a friend, she was loyal to her last breath and i will make sure she is remembered for her bravery and loyalty to her friends, but now is not the time for us to grieve over 2 friends."

i nodded and hugged her tightly and we all shared a tight hug of sorrow.

we finally let go and i heard a light, soft, and raspy groan i turned my head to face dashie's body in hopes it was her.

but instead a paramedic team came rushing into the room and i jumped back and held dashie's body close to me, her face against my shoulder.....then i felt it.

I could feel a small,slight breath slowly pulsing against my shoulder and i teared up with joy and held dash close to me and i screamed in joy "She's Alive!, Someone Help!"

the paramedics came over and pulled her from me and laid her down on the ground as i sat next to her crying tears....but no longer tears of pain and sorrow...but tears of joy.

they checked her pulse and to everyone's shock she had a faint pulse, but if they didn't get moving it would dissapear.

so they called in on their radio's and soon we helped them carry dash's body out of the damned castle and out to an ambulance.

once they loaded her up, they drove off in a hurry and another paramedic team checked us out for any injuries and soon enough we left the everfree forest and we arrived at the hospital and made our way inside.

we got to the front desk and nurse redheart was there "excuse me nurse?" i asked.

"oh hi fluttershy, what can i help you with" she said almost with a worried tone.

"i was wondering if they already have rainbow dash in the E.R.?" i asked slowly tapping my fingers on my leg.

"yes, they arrived and took her back 5 minutes ago, if you will all have a seat i will check with the doctors on her condition so far" she said with a slight smile.

"thank you" i said as we sat in the waiting room and nurse redheart dissapeared behind the doors.

as we sat there rarity spoke up "i do hope dear rainbow is alright, it would be devastating if she didn't-" rarity was cut off by twilight's hand as she motioned her head towards me.

i simply ignored it as what seemed like forever kept going on, Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock.

seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours as the day was shortly coming to a close i grew more and more worried about dashie.

the clock read 10:24 P.M. as twilight spoke up "well, we should get going, spike is young and tired and he needs his rest" she said.

i simply nodded and rarity left with them and i remained in the waiting room just tapping my fingers on the chair and constantly looking towards the clock.

12:35 A.M. and i fell asleep at celestia knows what time, but i am awoken by the gentle shake of nurse redheart whose face is tired and worried.

i stand up "is dashie alright?" i ask while slightly shaking.

"i think it's best you see for yourself" she says as she leads me back through the doors towards a room and she gives me a slight hug and walks away and i am left alone in front of the door.

i close my eyes and hold my hand to my heart "please let her be alright" i say as i open the door.........

on another note, i noticed that last chapter in the comment section 2 somepony's said they would like to know if their submission is still eligable on paper.

YES, ANY SUBMISSION TO MY EMAIL FOR THE BOOK WILL DO, it can be done on paper then you can take a picture and send it to my email, or do somehting creative in photoshop, anything will be accepted.

But, entres for ponies interested in the sweet offer of making the cover must be soon, deadline is almost here on interested ponies!

so i hope to see some more getting interested in creating the cover for the book!
